If you want to post an ad, the closest board is the place to go.  Not being from Cali, I don't know which one for you to use.  You don't need a personal website to post an ad, but if you don't have an ad somewhere, or a website, an ad won't do you much good, unless you have reviews here.

Your options are LA, or Orange County, or the "other cities" ad board. You can't post on more than one board at the same time, unless you are touring, but you could alternate every 7 days. For example post on the LA board, mentioning you are avail in Santa barbara, then 7 days later post on the OC board, etc. That way you will get more exposure. There is another board that is popular in CA which we can not mention here. You may find it through some research.

As swim said, you do not need a website to post an ad on TER, but if you don't have one, your ad here will have to have a link to an ad on an ad mall (ie; eros, cv) or a link to your TER profile. The info for posting ads can be found in the self help center at the top of the page.

...TER.  The Gold Coast is listed in the pull-down menu of cities in the "Search Reviews" section of TER.

In your TER profile it says your city is San Diego.  The other city is "None."  If the other city would be Santa Barbara, when guys do a search for Gold Coast providers, your name would be included in the list.

As others said, The Gold Coast doesn't have its own discussion board so L.A is the closest.
