Just out of curiosity, has anyone run into more than one AMP simply NOT picking up the phone for you? This past weekend I was in the mood to visit one of AMPs in the city, but for the life of me couldn't get an answer from any of the four (No, I'm not joking, I tried 4) places I called. I tried calling one in the afternoon and it just rang, then went to voicemail (voicemail feature was turned off), so I tried another place, then another, and so on.  Nothing. At first I thought hey, it's the weekend, I'm sure they're busy, I'll try again in an hour or two.  I did, and same thing, no answer anywhere.  Wait for two hours later, wait for three more hours, etc. and still nothing. Around 11 last night I decided to try a different phone, just out of curiosity, and the first AMP I was trying to call answered (!). By then it was too late so I told her I'd call the next day.  Next day rolls around and same thing, no answer from ANY of the places I called.
Then I started thinking about it, and wonder if my calling at those intervals may have scared the AMPs I was trying to contact into thinking I was LE. I know they were still doing business this weekend because I saw reviews popping up for some of the girls. Are these places networked? The only thing I could think of was maybe them contacting each other and blacklisting my number. I wish I could say I'm just being paranoid, but this happened with four different places. If that's the case then I'm very saddened by this, I've become very fond of AMPs and have yet to have a bad experience.

Anyone else ever run into this, or maybe have some insight on what may have happened? Am I correct in my assumptions?

providers will not answer.  Maybe AMPS have the same policy.

Other reasons:

They were all booked and had no more openings.

They had an LE scare and wanted to stay low profile.

The phone company is screwed up.  (Could you call other people?)

Call the operator and tell her that you believe this number should answer and want to be sure that it is not a technical problem and could they please try placing the call.  See what happens.

It's very strange, my number isn't blocked (I've used it to call other providers), maybe they were all booked, just seemed strange that 4 different AMPs would be booked solid all weekend.  Ah well, thanks for your input, with 94 reads I'm glad *someone* responded.

What does *82 do? EOM

If your number is showing up as a blocked #, *82 will make it show up unblocked.  Unfortunately for me, this is the second weekend that these same places haven't answered me (even after dialing *82), so I guess I'll have to scratch them off my list.  That's too bad, I was really hoping to visit some of those stunning ladies.
