"Compared to latex condoms, polyurethane condoms are less elastic and looser-fitting, making them slightly more likely to break or slip off. (Using lube and being a little less enthusiastic in movements may help to prevent this.) For this reason, many organizations, including the FDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), recommend polyurethane condoms to people sensitive or allergic to latex. For those who are not sensitive or allergic to latex, latex condoms are a better bet for safer sex."

So, the above being said, most providers are very enthusiastic as are hobbyist. And with lube, we all use it now and again, it apparently has the higher likelyhood or slipping.

I've never tried them but it's an interesting idea since I never need lub, queen of wet and squirting helps that.

This is sort of a newbie question from an old school provider that just unreitred.

I used to have a particular brand of condoms I favored. Now, I feel like they are to much like fking me through an extra heavy duty trash bag, lol. It's ruining the experience for me.
I'd like to get some suggestions for new and prefered condoms that we'll both enjoy without a slippage problem.

Thanks

Polyurethane condoms have the closest feel to BB. Durex makes them, and so do a few other brands. They aren't as "stretchy" as latex however.

Thanks Fuzzy I knew I could count on you...
I tried Durex. Don't like them. Slippage or maybe I'm just to tight. ;)

Been running into the same problem myself recently.  The older I guess, the less sensitive "it" is, unfortunately. Just say no to circumcision :(

That said, I've been pleased with the Durex super thins, usually does the job without getting too much in the way.  Can't get much thinner with latex without it losing effectiveness.

My real favorite are the polyurethanes, but unfortunately alot of providers won't use them... I've never run into a woman that likes them for some reason.  Men love them from what I can tell, but women really really don't.

Maybe you can clue me in as to why.. safety concerns aside, is there something about them that makes women not like using them?

I've used Trojan Supra polyurethane condoms for over a year now and they are amazing and superior to latex in every way, in my opinion, at least on the male side of things.

In my experience, they are not looser fitting than latex. I would say they are equally well fitting if not slightly better because of a "static cling" effect with my skin that latex does not provide. In the last year or so I've used them, I don't remember one instance of slippage.

I think the biggest and probably only reason to use polyurethane (besides a latex allergy) is that it transfers heat much better than latex, which eliminates much of the issues of not being able to feel whatever orifice you happen to be inside. The physical sensation is infinitely better than latex. I'm certain that in time as men and women try polyurethane, they will stop using latex and down the road latex condoms will be obsolete.

I know that scientific studies by the FDA have shown that polyurethane condoms are less elastic and more likely to break and slip off, however, as we all know real world testing is what counts here and my experience is the opposite of the "scientific" tests performed.

I guess I meant more on a pleasure level though - women seem to enjoy the poly's alot less than men.

Thanks for the info!  And the delicious mental image :D

The thinner the better.  We middle-aged guys need all the stimulation we can get.  LOL

If I can't have a little or a lot of everything then it gets boring. Plus, if I have something that's cutting of your circulation that doesn't help me get off now does it? LOL
But it's a great reminder.
Thanks sweets!

The Lifestyles ultra thin. These feel really nice to both parties and are sized closer to magnum than regular. Not really too big for most guys, not really too small for most guys.

Any down side to these from the safety point of view? I've used one once and it was nice.
