All newbies should read Self Help (formerly known as the "Newbie Manual") and also read back on this board until you can answer every question without looking.   No one can do it for you & the information must be assimilated through the filter of your own circumstances & risk tollerance.
Once you are familiar with how it works, you should get VIP...  so you can use the full reviews to select from well reviewed providers.  YES, VIP costs a little (you should be able to come up with a bucket list in one month) but it costs way less than even one spoiled date.   I had a couple before finding TER, none since.  'Nuff said,

Hi,
I have yet to take the plunge in seeing a provider, so I am in the dark as to what the two call system is in making contact with one. Can someone kindly explain it in detail?

vicinity of where she will be.

On the second call, she might ask you to identify some local landmark to ensure that you are really there and not some time waster.

If you pass the test, you get her address and apartment number (or hotel and room number), and your in.
