You did already get some good perspectives from swim and bostonguy. Here is a little more.
I think using your private residence is not a good idea. If you get a clingy client or a stalker, you dont want him to know where you sleep at night. You dont want clients potentially showing up unannounced. I have seen providers at their own residences, and as a client I havent had a problem, but if the shoe was on the other foot, and I was a provider, I could not see letting a client into my own home.
If you do get a static incall it is best to get a place seperate from where you actually live. The cost could be high, depending on how many clients you see per month, but then again a monthly rental rate could be cheaper than a week at a hotel, depending on the area etc. Some ladies will go in together and rent a condo and split the cost, and two or three ladies share the space as their incall. When looking for location, it should be easy to get to, have parking for your clients, allow them to come and go without arousing suspicion, and not have nosy neighbors.
If using hotels, then check out London`s post in the thread below. (brilove's "help" thread about 4 threads down) She and solalove gave some good advice regarding hotel incalls. Look for a busy high rise hotel (stay away form motels) with shops and restaurants, so people are coming and going all the time, and a client won`t stand out, and nobody will notice that you are having lots of visitors. Don`t use the same hotel over and over.
