With all due respect, when I was new, I found the girls enjoyed showing me the ropes. As far as researching on TER, that's always a good idea.

If you do your homework and see well reviewed ladies (minimum of 6 reviews by established reviewers--not guys with 1 or 2 reviews) you will be fine.  Yes, a lot of ladies will enjoy "showing you the ropes" provided you treat the ladies with respect and don't act like an a-hole.

Actually, I did have problems with providers taking advantage of me being a newbie.  Only it wasn't so much straight-out ripping off, but more like flaking out at the last minute, NCNS'ing, and not answering the phone when I called from the hotel parking lot.  So the initial post in this thread isn't completely false.

If you go to the LA board you will see he writes like that all the time. I think English is his second language.

I saw a guy bitching about something like this on the Boston board a few days ago. When I looked at his reviews I found that he was dating solid 3's and 4's and bargain hunting.
A good lady will not rip off a potential new regular. The review section exists for a reason.  If you don't use it and spend all of your time surfing CL or Eros you will reap what you sow. The myth of the CL diamond in the rough is just that, a myth. Good ladies exist on Eros and CL but you will find reviews on them here on TER if they are worth seeing.

Utilizing all of the tools at your disposal can help guard against such unpleasant behaviors. TER is unlike most of the other sites out there because you can do a little research and have a clear understanding of which ladies in your area are reputable and which ones are Rip-offs (*the "RIP- OFFS"  don't last long on this site*)

Another suggestion -for any other newbies out there who might be reading-  is to always check your grammar and punctuation when sending out an email or communicating with a provider. Remember we, as providers, can only guess at your mannerisms based on the impressions you give us. It is hard to imagine a gentleman taking the time to place respect for a provider high on his list of priorities if he doesn't seem to display enough respect for himself to at least make a decent first impression.

Just my thoughts.....  kisses ~T

Writing is an extremely important skill. Rightly or wrongly providers will judge how you communicate to them. You need to learn to express yourself with clarity and professionalism.

It would take me years to teach you how to write. In the interest of saving time, I will translate what you wrote:

Your Message: be carefull who you  tell that you are newbe There are lot of girls who will rib you off When they know you are this happen to me Make sure ter everyone

Clearly Stated: Unfortunately, in my brief time as a hobbyist, I have discovered that there are several unscrupulous providers who feel the need to take advantage of newbie’s. Once they find out that I am a new hobbyist, they prey on my inexperience’s and as such provide below standard sessions. This is rather disappointing and hurtful and has caused me severe financial loss. Please be careful before meeting a provider. My recommendation is to read the TER reviews carefully and precisely, so you can find a provider whom you can trust. I hope this warning is helpful to my fellow hobbyists as it is my sincere hope that you will not meet the same cruel fate that has bestowed me.

Now you may proceed with all the wonderful advice you have received!

but there was something about bagelboy's that had that certain Je ne sais quoi.

Sometimes rough hewn has that quality of insoucance that is so adorable.

In general, your point about learning to write well is well taken.

You meant ....

"newbies" ,  NOT "...take advantage of newbie's "

"inexperience"  NOT  inexperience's

cruel fate that has befallen me ,  NOT  "cruel fate that has bestowed me"

When one person spends so little thought (time and energy) when sending their message, it burdens the receiver of that message with a disproportionate effort in receiving it. Not many people remain willing to do so, for long.
