Hello. I recently had my first experience with a provider, and afterward, I sent her a text thanking her for the memorable night. She wrote me back and said she'd like to have me as a "regular" once or twice a week. My question is, is it common for providers to ask hobbiests (still can't get over that term!) if they'd like to be a regular? Also, what are the benefits to being a regular?

and I can't afford to hobby more than once a week (Not that I can even afford that, but I digress.)

Then there is the question of making time to see someone and others that often and the question of physical stamina.

So, to have to see gal once or twice a week is not a regular, that is an SO arrangement, IMHO.

She strikes me as being a bit pushy to suggest that, and I've never had any gal do that, so that is a red light to me.

I have what I consider to be regulars, but I don't see them more than once every other month, and I leave room on my dance card for new gals or gals I've seen in the last year or two who occasionally travel to my city.

most providers would like to have as a regular someone who's clean, treats them right and doesn't short them.  The benefits might (repeat might) be she gives you a little more time off the clock during a session and/or grandfathers you at her old rate if she raises her prices.  She also might, if you both desired, go out for a drink, lunch or dinner OTC.  Beware of the chronic condition: "I've fallen for a provider and I can't get up."

However, as Inicky pointed out, don't get yourself into a situation where "you've fallen for a provider and can't get up."  Also, as a newbie here you need to be very careful what you agree to.  Keep in mind that your dealing with a professional here - trust me - you are just a kid in nickers compared to her.

If you own a business, then you know how hard it is to acquire good new customers/clients.  The lady is simply being a good business woman by asking you to continue doing business with her. Is it common for providers to ask? I've never been asked to be a "regular" but I do get a lot of "love to see you again sweety" after a session. There are numerous benefits, which inicky spelled out. Another pitfall, besides the "I've fallen for a provider" is you may  be taken for granted by the lady. Shouldn't happen, but it's human nature. My advice, see some other providers, before you zero in on one and become a regular. There's a certain euphoria that all newbs may experience, that may distort your thinking, so it's important to remember this is a fantasy for you and a business for the lady.  Many hobbyist will tell you, that you should have a few favorites and rotating seeing them, along with seeing a new provider every once in awhile. it does happen.  She obviously enjoyed your company, and of course your money, and the way you treated her to ask you to become a regular.  IMHO, once or twice a week is way more than I would care to see just one provider.  You have one review, so I think you should get more of a sample of what's out there rather than tying yourself down to one provider.  If you really liked her, sure go ahead and see her again, I have several providers I have seen multiple times.  But I have never seen a provider 1 or 2 times a week for any kind of extended period of time, and probably never would.  Your budget would be a determining factor on how often you see her as well.

As far as benefits go, that would depend on her.  Inicky mentioned some possibilities of what she might offer you, but she doesn't have to offer anything, remember that.  However, IMHO, if you start seeing her that often, and she doesn't offer something, I would slow it down with her considerably.  I really think she needs to make it worth your while to limit yourself to just her that often.  Secondly, being a regular does not mean you necessarily have to see a provider as often as she is telling you.  For many, once a month, or even more time between visits is sufficient for her to think of him as a regular.  

Let's face it, they all want good repeat clients.

Early in my hobbying...  found a provider I really liked.  No discussion but I saw her exclusively for a year or so...  services dropped off & I felt she took me for granted.  I never said anything but I took a break...  a long break...  When I went back, she said she didn't think I was going to come back.  
In the meantime, I found more Favorite ladies who I now rotate with.  I get to fall for each one anew when we meet, get over it with the next one.  They do not take me for granted.  If I can not reach one, when I have free time coming up...  I move on to the next.  I feel this gives me the best mix of familiarity...  they know how to light my fire & I there's reasonable amount of trust.  But they do not take me for granted.  I continue to be open to additional Favorite ladies, as inevitably some will go.

(sell) you 6 (or any number) dates a month for x$ and you can schedule when convenient.  Often times the lady is always "busy" when you want to see her.  Much better to pay as you go.

Someone should write a translation of "provider-speak." It would be so helpful. Sorta like...

When she says:  "I can't wait to see you again, sweetie!"
She really means:  "I can't wait to take your money again, sucker!"

When she says:  "I only do this with you."
She really means:  "I only do this with you and all my other Johns."

When she says:  "I need to see you, baby."
She really means:  "I need to pay my utility bill."

Thanks for all the info. I'm definitely not falling for this provider... too many others need help paying the utilities! I really just wanted to see what the benefits were to being a regular. Off the topic, can someone point me to an acronym list? I really don't want to sound like an idiot on here.

All joking aside, I would say the main benefit to being a "regular" is that the girl -- IF she's a keeper -- will learn what you like. The sex will get better and better over time, as you two get more comfortable with each other. And, yes, sometimes she will stay longer, let you CIM, or do other things that she might not do all the time with less familiar clients.

That happened with a young lady I used to see every two weeks, but I finally had to stop because of the "I've fallen" syndrome. Can't let that happen. It's very easy to fall for her in a situation like that.

Oh, I forgot my favorite:

When she says:  "Of course, honey, I will give you a reference."
She really means:  "Hell no, I ain't letting you give MY money to some other bitch."

Before anyone gets up with my opinion, remember that is my opinion and nothing more...

First, don't discount that she may have really enjoyed her tiime with you.  It does happen.  She may have felt a strong client connection.  It does happen when a lady finds herself truly enjoying someone's company beyond the norm.  Again, keep in mind that this is within the provider/hobbyist relation and she is not offering to be your girlfriend.

Second, she obviously believes that you have the financial resources to visit her on a frequent basis, especially if she is suggesting weekly.

So she is putting her enjoyment and your ability to pay together and suggesting you become a regular.  

If you are interested, consider;

* As flattering as her proposal is, is she someone you want to see weekly!  Every other week?  Monthly?  Remember you are the one in control.  

+ Is she sweetening the pot to make being a regular more attractive?  If so,  is she offering you extra time, lower rates or some off-the-clock time?

* Does she need money?  Did she talk about unpaid bills, economic hardship or financial concerns?  Did you get the feeling this is simply a marketing ploy?

* Do you understand this is a business arrangement?  Can you maintain that perspective?


The bottom line is "how do you feel about the situation?". If she is someone you really want to see again, by all means repeat.  However, don't make any commitments about being a regular.  Just see her and if it happens, that you become a regular by your own choice, then it happens naturally.  Just keep your head on straight and remember that it is still a business relationship... Even if you become friends.

Thank you Sinful1. She did offer to "work with me" on the donation if I became a regular and she appeared to need the money. I suspect that it was more of a business move than anything else. She saw a safe, sane potential regular and thought it would be in her best interest to make the offer, even if it is for a little less per visit.

My problem is that I tend to sympathize with people a little too much, which might not be the best thing to do as a hobbiest.

Don't get sucked in to believing this is a good thing...I doubt it will turn out well for you.

There are only two gals that I have seen that have MY permission to text me unsolicited.  And in both those cases it is for reasons other than a session.

This gal just realized that her rent/car payment/utility or phone bill is due soon...and you're the closest guy available to pay it for her.

My suggestion is let her know that when YOU are interested again YOU will contact her.  Until then she is NOT to call/text/email you.  And if she persists...simply hit the "ignore" button.  She'll move on to her next John quickly.

You'll know from her subsequent responses if further rendezvous' are desirable on her part.

Is it common to repeat, or become a regular?  Yes...most of the ladies I've met over the past seven plus years were more than willing to meet again, and with most that are still active, the relationship is ongoing, even if we do not meet that often.  

Benefits of being a regular?  You will likely be able to schedule with her more easily, she will be more comfortable with you and vice versa, it's possible that you will become friends with her, and when you can't meet with her, she will provide a excellent reference.   If you wish to meet with her for longer periods such as dinner dates, taking her out on the town, or overnights or longer, it is best to see her on an ongoing basis, so that you both know each other well enough in order to know what to expect, and enjoy your time together.

All this being said, be sure to befriend several ladies.  You want to have as many options as possible when hobbying...
