What is the easiest way to leave a review for a provider. You would think that
just the provider ID would be all that is required but I get prompted for much
more detailed information.... isn't there a short cut?

It would be nice if you had their I'd it would ore fill some of the blanks. You could edit any new info then complete the remarks areas.

There is no shortcut. The form has to be repopulated every time. (and the funny thing is even if you write something different in the profile, it won't change the profile--only problem reports do that.)

The easiest way is to open 2 browsers. One with the existing profile and one with the new blank form, and just copy everything over. Also pre write your general and juicy details in a text document on your computer, then copy and paste it when you are ready to submit the review.

No I was just saying it would be once if when you put the provider I'd in it would populate the common fields to that provider and then you could write your review with a little less fuss.

Write the details in a word processor beforehand.  Tat way you have a copy, and you edit it before you post it.  Then, after you fill in all the questions, bayou just copy and paste into the boxes.

I think I actually knew what you were trying to say, but the wording was very confusing. I assumed you were typing on a phone with autocorrect.
I mean, what the heck is

I'd it would ore
?
Your new explanation is still a little strange. I have to assume "I'd" is actually "ID."

Anyhow the topic comes up often on this board and the Suggestion and Policy board. One of the reasons given long ago was that they wanted to make it a little more difficult to submit fake reviews. Also since they give 15 free VIP days for a review, it should require a little work to submit one. TER did say on the S&P board a few months back that they are working on a new system that should simplify it, but who knows when they will roll that out.

Thanks for the explanation. Yes I hate the auto correct.

Yeah, it would be something if TER would let you submit a review based on a Profile ID and have it populate the basic fields (that you could then correct or update: real versus fake new ones; hair color; new service level (spit versus swallow), etc.). Don't hold your breath.

However, to help prevent the proliferation of duplicate Profiles, some recommend including something like, "This is a review of Name, TER Profile ID ####### ..." in the General Details.

Also, to swim, some of us have to be careful not to allow anything to persist on our computers.  If a word processor crashes or we forget to delete something, there may be a temp file or other residue that we don't need to be around. I write everything on the fly.  THAT'S a reason I wish TER would add a "Save Draft" feature for Reviews.  If TER is concerned about server space, make it a "Save Draft - Drafts older than 30 days will be deleted automatically."
