This is the best place to ask questions.  To post an ad you have to have either a personal website, or an ad on some ad site.  Please read the self help center, it will answer many of your questions.  If you still have more questions, feel free to either ask them here or send me a PM, I'm the host of this board.

lifesaver. After that, you should read several pages here and you will find that some questions are repeated every week or so. There is also a search feature where you can search threads by subject, author, etc.

Good luck.

...You are welcome to post questions and we'll do our best to answer or send you to where the answers should be. swimtrekr mentioned the Self-Help Center. It's on the upper right of most of the discussion boards directly under the red and white life preserver. (You can't see it while reading a post. It's on the "home" page of each discussion board.) Click on the link and then read what you find in all the links listed there. I'll include a link to it at the bottom of this post so you can check it out. Be sure to check out "Provider ad posting guidelines" and "Some info for Providers".

In regard to you being verified TER does not verify hobbyists or providers and you can not name, discuss, or link to other sites that have reviews on TER as they are competitors. What you can do to let TER members know about you is begin reading and participating on your regional discussion board and place ads on your regional ad board. Be sure to read in the Self-Help Center for the guidelines for placing ads and the discussion board rules. Once someone writes and submits a review for you on TER and it is approved and posted you can ask TER admin for the free limited provider VIP membership. That will give you access to the PM system and you can read all of your own reviews and see you profile. Your profile will be created by the guy that reviews you first. When you have the free limited provider VIP there will be a link saying "See my TER reviews"  whenever you post. It will be under your handle (KarieDee) and potential clients can click on it and check out your information and reviews.  Until then you can pay for the VIP membership as many providers do so you can take advantage of all TER has to offer and then cancel the paid membership when your provider VIP kicks in.

There is no difference in the memberships as far as providers and hobbyists when you first join. Everyone is a basic member. Then anyone can pay for the full VIP membership. The difference becomes clear when providers have the "See My TER Reviews" under their handle when they post and the guys having the numbers of reviews they have written listed under their handle. Clearly what they say in their posts and the point of view also helps to determine who is who.

All of this and more is in the Self-Help Center. Welcome to TER
