Hi, I have a little question that I thought I should ask you guys here as you all  have a bit more experience than I do. Basically in light of recent events and announcements should I even consider advertising on Bp at all or avoid it completely? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Tia

as long as I can still check out her reviews on TER and know that she is legit.

I know lots of guys have problems with it though.

You can't please every one.

I appreciate your reply a lot. But I feel silly lol as I meant to post this on my local board. I am asking this question in the context of quite a few bust in the last month and also LE posting an announcement/ad of their own on Bp recently. Any thoughts?

I don't know what you are referring to. I can only say what I usually do, which is that I don't browse BP.

really no other venue to use for advertising, and I have gotten tons of replies from Doctors, Lawyers, etc. They too, do not know about any other venue. Just keep in mind that you have to still screen the same way you would on any other site, and don't put a phone number by any means. You will have so many bs, time wasters, 3 a.m. callers, it is not worth it. I put my website and write in all caps DO NOT RESPOND FROM BACKPAGE...GO TO MY WEBSITE! If they can't read a 3 line ad saying that, I just delete their emails and move on.

It's more work if you actually think you have to respond to guys who are clueless and have no refs...I simply avoid them. BP has a stigma for sure, but if a guy does a search for a provider's name and sees she has years of reviews, it's not rocket science to determine she is not the usual BP fly by night gal.

I can see the merit, from the LE side, of doing sting operation on BP. If they can scare enough people into not using BP then they are ahead of the game, from their point of view. Not only I won't use BP, I am trying to be more careful with other websites as well, such as CV, CS, or even TER. Since I have joined P411 and able to provide 2 references, I no longer see any provider who is not on P411 or have less than 5 reviews on TER. As I see it, I am in a very big pond with plenty of fishes. There's no reason for me to take unnecessary risk. Of course, this is only from my point of view.

I haven't lolled at BP since my very early days when I didn't know any better. Then, for a while I would go to BP but do a search on TER, thus immediately filtering out all those who were not also listed on TER. Now, exclusively TER.
Where are you Kadi? That could be a factor in your decision.

I'm in the Dc area and would like to begin posting ads. Googling escorts+Location= BP and another review site. As I'm not reviewed (yet) I cannot acess p411 or datecheck at this time.  :(  Thanks for al the responses :)

In fact, I know some very reputable providers that use BP with success.  I also think it does make a difference where you are as to how reliable the BP ads are.  I have said many times in answering newbie questions, hobbyists can look for ladies anywhere, but check the reviews, either here or on one of the other review sites.  I peruse ads on several different sites on a daily basis, looking for potential dates.  But, I do my research, check website, phone numbers, pics, etc, before making contact with anyone.

I get a lot of foolish phone calls from backpage (goons, bullshitters, and timewasters) but it seem to be the medium for out of town businessmen.   If I do see a local I'm very strict about not seeing anyone under 40 off of backpage.

That doesn't mean that you won't get any good responses, but consider this analogy:  If you are working with an agency that doesn't have a good rep, then do you want to work for that agency?
