Saw an interesting add on Cityvibe, tempted to call.  She is listed on TER (Edited out by mod), but she has only one review.  The reviewer has reviewed several other SP's over the last year who, in turn have several other reviews.  My spidy senses aren't tingling, but I do wonder if they should be.  What is your opinion?

Hold off awhile. I know you're chomping at the bit to start hobbying, but monitor the lady's reviews and when she has a few more reviews from experinced reviewers go see her. Good luck

I look for consistency in number rating for appearance and performance.

For example performance: 7, 7, 8

If I see something like 7, 5, 8 then I would wait for more reviews.

When it comes to those reviewed ladies there was a time when they were like me, trying to be a good provider but isn't trusted.  Those ladies with all those reviews once upon a time did not have any.  It is so frustrating to of been a UTR and now the closet still won't let me out! lol.

You're absolutely right. All of the ladies started out with no reviews, just as all the guys started out with no references. Yes, we do recommend that the newbies stick with the well reviewed ladies. It's the guys who have been around for a while that you're looking for. Those are the ones that will get your reviews going.

There are a few things you may want to do to get things started. You can build a free website, quickly and easily. There are several template type sites out there. Find your local discussion board, (to your left, in the drop sown menu) and start participating in the discussions. You can also place an ad on your local board once per week. This will let the guys know who you are, and the more you participate, the more they'll get to know your personality. You can also get involved in the discussions on the general board, as well as this one.

Thank you for the advice.  I was going to ask, what is a woman to do?  But now, I understand. It is difficult to get reviews if no one will see me without several reviews.  I completely understand how it must take a while to be fully trusted.

I have been posting a little bit here, and on my regional board.  I look forward to getting to know some of the fine gentleman from my area.  I love meeting new people, and I am glad I finally found  TER.

Keep posting on your local board, and keep an eye out for the ISO postings. Reply to the guys in your area, or the visitors, and the reviews will begin. Post your ad every seven days. They'll start to get comfortable with you.

I DO appreciate any advice, and that sounds very good.  At the same time, I am getting to know others here, as they get to know me.  I promise to be patient, lol.  

it takes time a patience. I posted the same rant with no reviews. Newbies have it hard. Build a cliental and request a review as a follow up email. patience.

Angie, get those new pictures you mentioned on your web site asap. This is meant as a constructive criticism, you need better pictures. No one will fault you if you want to blur your face, but to be honest your photos need to be improved. Good luck

It is frustrating. I've posted on the local boards, met with other providers, invested in great photos and a nice site....but no steady calls.

I toured in Boston, thinking that it was just the local area that was slow. I still didn't get any calls. So, I worked for an agency up there, saw several great guys who were waaay more than just pleased with me - but they didn't review me because they don't belong to these review sites. They raved about me to the agency owner, who says I can come back anytime

So, I'm being patient, too. I'm on a hiatus due to ACL surgery (whitewater rafting mishap), and working on revamping my site with a professional designer.

When I read about neededing at least 10 reviews on this post, my heart sank. I want to do more touring, but if it takes that many to just start out I'm not sure how that will happen. It's like a catch 22.

It seems like going independent will be very slow to do if I can't get gentlement callers without reviews, and I can't get reviews without gentlemen callers.

BTW, I did attend a meet and greet up there...and maybe that is the best way to get interest and drum up a few rendevous. I've gotten requests to come back to Boston from a few guys from the meet and greet

I frequently visit ladies with very few or no reviews here if

- they are represented by an agency I trust
- they are verified on date-check or p411
- they are recommended by a provider I know
- they have reviews on other sites

YES!  I know I need to get some photos done soon.  I have all kinds of plans for my website, including a new format someday. It is difficult to find the time to do all that I want to do.
