Not a newbie, but this seemed like the best place to post...

VIP just expired, and before I pay up again, I thought I might go the review route. I'm wondering now that I'm basic again if I need to submit 2 reviews to get back to VIP or does the fact that I already have reviews and was just VIP mean I only need to submit 1 review to get 15 days o VIP.

You just need to post 1 review and you'll get 15 free days.

after that 1 review at a time (or other things like problem reports that get 2 days).  If you've never done reviews before, I think you'll have to do the 2.
