Many years ago I civie dated maybe 10 gals, and got STDs three times.  Luckily that was before the age of HIV.

Since then, I've been with over 200 escorts over the last 30+ years, and not once have I gotten an STD.

So, what do you think about that?

Does this worry you a bit.  For some women that have been around 10 years.  How many guys have they been with?  I figure they have to pass some kind of disease?  Even if a girl sees 4 guys a month, that would be 480 guys.  And some women are probably already promiscuous, so who are they seeing that aren't their clients.

Am I wrong?  I guess you can just take the risk and do your research.  But still, that kind of turns me off from some seeing some girls.  In fact (which is probably more risky), sometimes I will see a girl but can't see the same girl her again because I keep thinking about all the dudes she has been with.  Or even the dudes she has been with that day.

It is not about me, I was just curious if you think about it?

I would think about STDs more than worrying about LE?  If you actually go at with a provider, there is a chance of getting something.  There is probably a lower chance of LE just sitting around waiting for your date.

...think about it. I enjoy her company and move on. Some ladies company I enjoy so much I return to see them over & over. What they do when I'm not there isn't something I give much thought to.

It is just interesting.  Me, I sometimes worry about high volume providers and ... passing something compared to LE.

With LE, I just can't imagine that they are watching this one particular girl and this one particular date.  But with any kind of physical contact, sometimes I even think about just the flu.

I am overthinking it but I was just curious what  you guys thought.

everything that can give you a disease or kill you; you might as well lock yourself in the closet and throw away the key. What is the big fucking deal! There is risk in everything you do in life, so you might as well enjoy it while you can.

Several things you can do to lower your risk:

1. Either use a dental dam for daty or don't engage in it at all.

2. Make sure your BJ is covered.

3. Only see women that average very few reviews per month or go several months between reviews. Now this last piece of advice is going to be more controversial and may not fully indicate if a lady is seeing less men than other women but since we don't know for sure, it's the only piece of evidence we really have.

Now I don't practice any of the above 3 options but that is my risk assessment for me only. You have to make your own. But remember this. Everything we do in life has risk. When you drive your car to go see her for the appt., you risk getting into an accident and being one of the 40,000 people who die every year in the U.S. in traffic fatalities. But you lower the risk, right? You drive at or near the speed limit, obey the traffic signals/signs, wear a seat belt, etc. Only you can determine if this hobby is right for you risk wise. You could play golf as someone suggested, and could be struck and killed by an errant golf ball to the head. Blow jobs and Daty are a helluva lot more fun than that, don't ha think? Lol!

Get a flu shot and do CBJ and use dental dams with DATY if it worries you that much.

As MrFisher said, escorts for the most part are cleaner. It is very hard to catch something from an escort because they use protection (that is, if you see high quality and well reviewed ladies - not street walkers).
Random people you meet at a bar or the club have unprotected sex ALL THE TIME and are thus more likely to spread something.

You need to learn how to compartmentalize, that's a fancy psych word for don't worry about the stuff you mentioned. As for me, I get tested regularly, been doing this for awhile and so far so good.

I live in NYC, and the dating scene here can often be described as "fuck first, ask questions later."

Lots of people hook up with lots of other people here, and sometimes that doesn't involve a condom.  So I have to say that it's all relative.

The myth that all providers get tested regularly is purely a myth.  Some do, many don't.

You have to go into this knowing the risk.

most providers claim that they do not keep info on clients, but have wondered the same.  do they keep a tally of how many guys they have had sex with.  in other words, number of notches on the bed post, so to speak

I do EVERYTHING covered and I'm pretty vanilla, pretty much just straight mish. I'm more worried about herpes than any other std. Anybody ever try something like latex shorts with built in sheath for penis. Something like this:

Bottom line...you don't know what we do based on the number of reviews we have. Hookers use condoms 99 percent of the time...never did that when I was a slut in high school. Either get over it, or get out of the hobby. It's not our job to keep you safe...that's YOUR job.

You have 3 reviews, 2 of which have profiles without even a star rating, did bbbj with ALL of them, and you wonder what WE are doing? Priceless.

It was just a question.  It is interesting that more are worried about LE.  E.g. there are always active topics about LE.  A LE bust would get you a misdemeanor for a hobbyist, maybe a 500 dollar fine, an arrest.  And then there is the rare chance that LE is stinging your particular date.  But a STD could be live long in the case of herpes.  And sometimes the girl doesn't know or the guy. Based on those responses, it doesn't look like it is a concern.

Nope, I went BBBJ with one of them, the most recent one.  The other two were CBJ as written in the review.

Once again, it was a question.  Either you don't you think about ("NO" or "Yes" you think about it).  Let me know which questions are valid in the Newbie forum.  I figure health/stds and LE are.

Why do you think so many of them INSIST on BBBJ, but will run from BBFS? Because, with bbbj they know the risk is moreso on the person doing the giving. I agree that it does seem silly to be so worried about LE, and not something that could kill you...but, I have also found it hilarious that the very providers guys let bareback them, won't leave their wallet in a room with her whilst taking a shower. They don't trust her not to rip them off, but they DO trust her to be clean? Sorry, don't get that logic either, and that's in the same line with what you're trying to suggest.

how "worrying about it" helps.

Does constantly thinking about how many guys she has been with serve to prevent disease transmission?

The answer to your question is: yes, there is risk involved in p4p. Many will argue that the risk is less than in "civilian" life since this is a livelihood for the ladies and they are very cautious about protecting themselves. But anyone who believes there is NO risk is an idiot.

Those of us who choose to p4p make a decision that the positives outweigh the risk, and pursue this "hobby". Sitting around worrying about it does nothing to enhance the pleasure, so we don't do it.

If you are going to worry about it, then don't do it. As others have suggested, take up golf. Or tennis. Or stamp collecting. Anything to keep you from worrying.

Just about any question is valid - your problem is you are trying to control the answer.

This is a discussion board. You can't "require" that people give a "yes or no" answer, they will
debate the question ad nauseum. And nobody figures that you are looking for a straight yes or no
anyway, what would you do with those results? What, if you get more "nos" than "yesses", you'll
stop worrying?

I brought it up, and hopefully when people search they can go through this thread.  One thing I noticed about some of the asian/korean/chinease agencies.  They will do a shower before and after, sometimes joining you in the shower.  Also add in anti-bacterial soap during the shower.   And one time we actually did mouthwash together.

That is most likely for hygiene purposes and mild infections. I highly doubt anyone is showering to wash away an STD. If it were only that easy, 1 in 4 people would not have Herpes.
