strange question about shaving

I was shaving this morning, thinking of setting up an appointment with a provider next week, and i was wondering: if i'm going to see a provider and plan on DATY, should i not shave right before the meeting for fear of cuts on my face, around my mouth?

i know, i feel a bit silly for asking this question, but now its on my mind and bugging me. I'm just trying to cover all safety angles for her and me.

thanks everyone!

nothing worse than razor burn "down there" I'm told.  Be careful, don't cut yourself.  Personally, I like super slick shaving gel these days & break out a frsh blade for the occasion.  (ie- I've ditched the foam!)

Maybe if you've got newbie nerves (shaking hands) the previous suggestion of electric razor might work.  Personally, I don't think I could bring myself to go back to electric.
