Recently I got a review and I am not going to try to make argument here real or not.

I know its not real or I know that what was said did not happen in the juicy details of service. I send a PM to the guy. I have never screened him under his TER ID but its possible I did under his P site ID. I have never gotten a PM from him and never sent him one. I have never had any contact from guy as TER member.

I know many of guys have both or multiple sites for screening so thats ok. But I also know that what he says in the juicy details is very much untrue. So I PM him and ask, why did you write a fake review, or why did you write something not true. Maybe he had a reason. And also can you prove you did see me by telling me the date, place and time we met. I get no reply. I should say that what he wrote did cause me to not be eligible for a higher score, it was not something he write to exaggerate.

I file a problem report. My question is when I check my problem report its says "response requested" I have gotten no mail or message from TER...what does that mean. Sorry for stupid question.

I can't help you get rid of a fake review, that will be up to Admin, but I can tell you what "response requested" means. When you file a problem report to contest a review the first thing TER does is to contact the reviewer for his side of the story. So what "response requested" means is that they have contacted him and are waiting for his response to them.

Good luck and be patient, these things are usually resolved, but not always quickly.

...stay up?  There should be a TER policy that if the reviewer does not respond with his side of the story, then the review would be automatically removed and the 15 days he received for the review be deducted from his account.

GaG,

Thank you. Its not so much a huge thing. I know I will always get penalty for broken english unless client is used to it and expect it. Penalty for being not good fucking is only my fault for not giving good effort. But penalty for doing something less than I do is pain in the ass.

But thank you for explaining.

Christine

a-holes in both treating ladies and in writing factual reviews. GaG gave you the information you were asking for. Give TER admin some time to get it right.

To me, his silence to a TER investigation should be viewed as a tacit admission the review is fraudulent.

Personally, I think the review should come down immediately when a girl "flags" it, and should stay down during the investigative phase of 15 days.

But If the guy defends it successfully, it goes back up asap.

That being said, there should also be some limit of how many reviews a gal can challenge if they abuse the system by taking down any review they don't happen to like.

So, if a gal has a certain number of challenges overturned due to successful defenses by her reviewers, she should lose the privilege of being able to contest anymore in the future.

We will never have a perfect system but we can make it much better then it is now as it is abused so often.

"You" being the person who sent in the problem report. In this case, Christine. She needs to switch to "contact us" feedback. Actually problem reports are only for simple problems with profiles or individual reviews. For anything more complex it is better to send in a "contact us" message, instead of a problem report in the first place. However, if you already sent in a problem report, then you can send a "contact us" feedback if you  get the "response requested" message. Problem reports only allow a one way communication and then it's either approved or unapproved. Feedbacks allow back and forth communication with TER, so they can get more info and hopefully resolve the issue.

I have sent in problem reports in the past and when it said "response requested" it meant they wanted more info from me, not that they were waiting for a response from someone else. What you need to do is send in a feedback by clicking on the "contact us" button. Give TER the info and then check "myfeedback" for their response. If it requires further response from you, you can reply to their feedback. This can go back and forth if needed. A problem report can not be used that way. It is just a one shot deal meant for one way communication, meant to fix simple issues and usually just gets an "approved" or "unapproved" message.

I definitely recommend following up with a "contact us" message. Look at this way. Even if GaG is correct on this, TER's reply to your contact us message will be, "We are waiting for a response from the client." That still gives you a lot more information than just a "response requested," statement on your Problem Report, and it is better than just waiting around and doing nothing because you didn't know what their "response requested" message meant.  However I am willing to bet money with Gambler that their message actually meant they want more info from you.

Please come back and let us know. Keep us posted.
By the way, that was not a stupid question at all. Some folks even say there are no stupid questions on the newbie board, but I have seen a few. Lol.
Good luck

I am sorry I accidentally reply to wrong post. I will also use the contact us option and let you know if things progress.

Again Thank you to everyone.

Yeah, but I would think they would then state what it is they want a response to -- just leaving it open ended like that seems more what GaG was talking about. At least when I've send it problem reports and the admins wanted more they were pretty clear about what they were asking.

Then again, you have a lot more experience and are involved here so maybe I should STFU on this ;-)

So I would have to agree that It might be a good idea to follow the advice of PS, "just in case"

I do know I have submitted problem reports and had them remain in limbo with "response requested" as the only thing I have gotten back from Admin until a week or two later when the reports where finally resolved and they went from "response requested" to either "approved" or "unapproved"

By very definition that means he "might" be right. 😊

My main point was for Christine to follow up with a contact us feedback, instead of just waiting around for something to happen. The "contact us" opens a dialogue with TER. A problem report is not meant to do that. From my own experiences with literally hundreds (and perhaps over a thousand) problem reports submitted over the years, the  usual responses are, "approved," "unapproved," "new" (which means they haven't looked at it yet), "duplicate" (which means someone else submitted the same report, before you), and "response required."  The last one could mean several things. It could mean they are waiting for info from the provider or someone else. It could mean they need another admin to look at it. It could mean they need more info from you, but they won't normally tell you that in a problem report. Problem reports were never meant for two way dialogue with TER.

Now you say that you submitted problem reports and admin got back to you wanting more info. I have to ask are you sure it was a problem report submitted from the "report a problem" button on the provider's profile page? Or was it actually a feedback through Contact Us? If it was the first it would be extremely rare to get a response from TER other than the basic ones I mentioned above. Again from personal experience, in the hundreds of problem reports I have submitted, I believe twice I actually received a PM from TER support in my PM box saying they wanted more info on a problem report I sent. Others just received the "response requested" message, and I followed up my Problem Report with a Contact Us, to find out what kind of response they were looking for. Of course, most of the time if I know something will require a back and forth communication, I send in the problem using Contact Us instead of Report a Problem, in the first place.

Right on the TER Problem Report submission form it says:

"The Problem Report system is designed for quick, easy updates to profiles. For more complex issues, especially those that might require correspondence back from our Support team, please submit a Feedback. You can submit a Feedback by clicking on the Contact Us link near the top of most TER pages.
Examples of when to submit a Problem Report: website not loading or incorrect, incorrect phone number, a change in the provider's appearance or services offered, a review posted to the wrong profile, a provider has two profiles that need to be combined, a review is posted with a score that exceeds the provider's score maximum.
Examples of when to send in a Feedback: reporting a fake or fraudulent review, requesting an entire profile removed from TER, questions about VIP access, questions about why your review has not posted, any inquiry that requires a response."

Now if you notice, a fake review definitely falls under Contact Us vs. Problem Report, and Christine's post is about a fake review.

I went back into "my problem reports"

At the end right side past were it says "response required" is an arrow. I never thought to click on arrow. When I click on the arrow there is instruction......

Status: For this problem report please contact TER Customer Support.

Details: I have significant reason to think my latest review is fake or inaccurate. I have sent a TER pm to the author. I have asked him why his details are very false, and I have asked him to provide specific information as to the time, date, and location we have met. I am very low volume provider and remember each encounter. His review says CBJ, maybe he has reason for saying this but I have never done CBJ in my life, provider or real life. I wait his reply. The review was just submitted by (XXXXX removed for private of the asshole)

I have submitted to TER Customer Support, I will advise what happens next.

Thank all for advice and direction on this matter.

I want thank all of you for the great advice.

The members of the board gave me excellent advice. Only 3 days after I contact support, the fake review is gone. This is good. The board members are experienced enough to guide me through the process and to show me the path to fix the problem. TER took care of problem in a fast manner and I am thankful."

Again Thank You

Most of the people that post on the newbie board are happy to offer advice based on their knowledge and experience. I am sure they will be happy to hear your results.

Many newbies come here and receive good advice then we never hear from them again. I'm not complaining about that, and we will keep helping, but I do want to say that it is always nice when someone actually comes back with a follow up to let us know their results. 😊👍🏼
