But keep in mind they run work verification and some providers would still require your work info even if you belong to the sites. I disagree with the provider who stated " there is no privacy in the hobby business" if you are seeing well reviewed and upscale providers I can assure that we offer the utmost privacy in order to protect our present and future endeavors as well as yours. Once you start getting references, you are one step ahead but not to discourage you, sometimes ladies will check your ID in order to match it with the info they have so using an alias even with references is not a great idea either.

I was kind of finding the same thing... and I feel the same way you do.... Because I had no idea what I was doing, I was trolling Backpage.com for providers.. under escorts.. many here will flip out as they say one should never use BP.. I was on a business trip and , I got lucky and the first provider to email me back was well reviewed here.. When I met her, for my 1st ever appt, I had made it for 2 hours... so we had plenty of time..she was nice enough to give me the facts of life so to speak.. I reviewed her.. and was in touch with another provider when I got home.. but I checked her reviews here before I saw her.. I was learning.. I reviwed her.. so now I have, at least a TER history...I am new to this as well.. and you have to start somewhere..  I did and you will..  suggestion: get another email address for emails .. use that and no worries about worlds colliding..

For newbies, I would recommend a 2-hr. date with a well-reviewed provider who is newbie friendly. With VIP, you can read details in reviews.

This topic comes up all the time from frustrated hobbyists having difficulty getting provider dates.   I agree with the previous posts about P411.  Gina, the owner, and her staff will work with you to get you verified.  While it's likely true about giving them your personal information, it's better to do it one time than to have to offer it up to several providers until you get some references.  

Paloma is right too, many providers will want some references in addition to the verification site.  P411 does allow the providers to indicate if they are newbie friendly.  Their screening methods might be less stringent than others, that's the advantage.

Sending money in advance is not a good idea, unless you know the provider well, and/or are maybe booking an extended date.  If you stick to well-reviewed providers, your chances of encountering a LEO set-up are pretty slim.

It sounds like you are looking to have a pleasurable, connected time and not just a quickie or anything like that.  However, if you're just plain old horny once in a while, there are lower end places that do not screen in the same way as many independent providers or even some agencies.  

No matter what, if you are not comfortable giving out certain personal info, DON'T.  Once you've got some level of trust or comfort with the way a system is working, then do so, IF YOU WANT TO.  I don't think an hour fun is worth the continuing anxiety you'll feel if you don't like the vibes.  

You mention NYC where there are many AMPs and similar establishments.  You might have to show some form of picture ID at the door but you can usually keep your name covered up.  (A recent Newbie thread on that topic.)  Because there are co-workers and security in these places, they are mostly concerned about LE; if there is any other kind of trouble (unnecessary roughness; not paying; similar) there are people there to quickly intervene.  

Some of these places are GFE, some are non-GFE.  In either case, it can get the job done and gives you experience.  Most indies do not accept references from such places.  Sometimes an AMP, RMP, LMP or apartment girl does go independent and then you're in like Flynn!

The first provider that I contacted a year ago when I started this hobby told me that since I didn't have any references requested that we end the call and that I immediately take a picture of my business card and text it to her immediately.  I did that right away and she agreed to see me.  

Two hours later I met her and she popped my newbie cherry.  After the hour expired she spent an additional half hour off the clock showing me the different verification websites.  I joined datecheck as soon as got home and she gave me a reference.  Ask your first provider to show you these websites.  More than likely she will be more than happy to if she has the time.  

I have built up 5 provider references on datecheck and this is usually all I need get verified.
