I live in a small town with very few women whose sense of self-worth is a direct reflection of the male to female ratio here, i.e., they're pretty stuck-up.  So, because I travel for work, I thought I'd treat myself to something I've never done.  I'm confused by all of the acronyms and am interested in learning the dos and don'ts (in plain English) so that my first experience isn't a disaster. Can anyone direct me to a single source of info for someone doing this for the first time?  Thanks!
