I suggest reading up on it so you'll know how TER works.  There's also a lot of good information about the hobby world as well.

Chalestina, this is the place to ask questions w/o fear of ridicule.  There are lots of us here who are willing to offer assistance in navigating this site and the hobby in general. Also suggest you introduce yourself on your local regional board too.  Start posting there so they will get an idea of your personality, that can go a long way.
