Safety of Local vs Visiting Providers

Veterans,

All things being equal, are visiting providers generally safer than local providers?  Assuming they are well-reviewed, can I assume that the likelihood that a visiting provider has been flipped is lower than the likelihood that a local provider has been flipped?  In other words, does LE ever set up stings with flipped providers in a different state from the one in which the provider was flipped?

Thanks,
Newbie

is better than a provider with little to no reputation no matter where they are located. Either one could easily Flip if they very well choose. The police could tell a visiting provider that she might be able to cut down some jail time and embarrassment if she uses the rest of her time in that jurisdiction to help set up gentleman.

We can never know for sure but I could play out a variety of situations about the pro's and cons of local vs. visiting. But either way you still have a risk of getting arrested  and that is something you just have to deal with in this hobby

you stand a better chance of staying safe.  There is no such thing as a guarantee.

because flipped providers are so extremely rare that they barely deserve consideration. By far greater weight should be given to reviews, backchannel intel, your intuition, etc.

No, Seriously.  What are you looking for in safe?

Someone who won't show up at your door at 3 a.m. and screw up your life?

Someone who gets herself screened regularly?

Someone with ties to the community?
