Tried to dip into the hobby for the first time in 18-20 years and long story short, I got ripped off.  I paid my money up front...then she wanted "The Tip" up front also, so as to "not have to stop at the wrong time".  Like a fool, I paid her some more before ANYTHING even happened.  Well, she basically did nothing, danced around half-nude, and told me to "do" myself....no massage, no touch, no nothing.  I kicked her out after ~4 minutes....

Question:  Is it a major tipoff when they want a tip up front?
Did I commit the hobby's cardinal sin?  What's accepted protocol?
Gawd, what a rookie....

The quality ladies will never ask for the money up front and for sure they won't ask for a tip.  Stick with the well reviewed indies on this site and other sites like this and you will be having some great times.

In addition to the words of wisdom Poppa gave you ... before you hand over any cash always ask what you are getting in return.  I will always review with a new lady what my expectations are before handing over any cash DFK, DATY, multi pops, etc. That way we both have a very good understanding of what is expected of each other. I seldom tip but when I do it is ALWAYS at the end of a session .. if you tip before hand how do you know what you are getting for your tip verses what is normally done in a session.  Stay away from the agencies and their up sale and stick with the indies.  When I used to use an agency years ago I would put the last 4 numbers of my SS# on each bill along with my first name.  If she tried to dash on me I had no problem with removing my funds from her person or purse, the one time I had to do this she said she was going to call the cops and I said go for it, I'll tell the cops I was robbed and you can explain to them how you got my 100's with my name and SS# on them, needless to say that shut her up very quickly. hobby safe hobby well hobby all you can be

I'm not knocking what you are saying or anything, but how can you talk about these things from an LE point of view?  Or are these people you know for sure cause you have been with them before?  Even if someone is well review there is always the risk in the back of my mind until after we are playing.

Was just curious thanks.

I'm really not sure what your question is??   All the ladies I see are well know, well reviewed, and I know them.  I'm not sure where LE came into the thread?   I would suggest relaxing and having some fun.  If they are well reviewed, where is the risk??

Hopefully Spinner39 only has "discussions" with legit providers.  I agree with the observation that he could be causing himself problems if he talks detail and is not dealing with legit providers.

Listen closely. Go ahead LA pro mafia, read it and weep. I NEVER ask about money. Most of the guys leave it in an envelope in the bathroom, or toss it somewhere, I don't care. Listen: my 2 top worries are le and STDs. I use protection, and I screen, and if you say ANYTHING about price for X, I will show you my door or hang up. I have odd ways of screening, and I am not easily scheduled. Bummer. The best tips I have gotten are REVIEWS and repeat visits. I don't like flowers, and I don't need anything other than your repeat business, so I can continue to do what I love to do and do so well. OK? Lol.  Peace out.

I have never heard of LE setting up an agency that you find in a phonebook.  They don't have the time or money for that.  So if you call an agency out of the phonebook very remote chance it will be LE.  Now when the agency lady arrives it will be up to you to prove to her that your not LE.  All I'm trying to say here is take a little time ask questions before you turn over that agency fee and find yourself falling into a bait and switch, up sale, or a dasher, that's all.  When she's says "first, I need to collect the agecy fee"  review with her what that means, many times what she says and what the agency told you will be complete 180's. Then tell her that you have "X" amont of dollars (including the agnecy fee) to spend and your looking for full service, she'll either say no problem or no way... but don't give up that agency fee until you know what your getting .....

That you also do not keep a binder book or have over flowing harddrives, CDs or floppies lying around?  But I agree with your basic points - a hard, thorough screener is always welcomed by me. By the way, what is LA pro mafia?  That is a new term to me, I am such a newbie, spank me, please.
