New Provider - Cleveland, Ohio

Hi everybody.  I posted a message awhile back requesting info.  I was having a hard time getting started in "the biz", being new and pretty much clueless as to how this whole industry works.  I would like to thank everyone that gave me pointers and feedback.  I couldn't have done it without you!

My very first appointment with a client went extremely well.  I told him afterwards that he was my first (couldn't help myself)- he was surprised, said he would have never guessed.  He doesn't usually write reviews, but said he would to help me out.  So hopefully we'll be seeing one on this site soon.  Another client said he would as well.  

I do have one question though.  I know a lot of providers ask for another provider as a reference to screen new clients.  Being new, can I approach another provider w/ this info to screen a client of my own?  What is this the best way to go about doing this and would my request be well-received?

Another other screening tips would also be much appreciated.  Thank you again!
