You are asking a question that will stir lots of debate.  Yes, BBBJs and DATY are very common.  HIV transmission has never been documented via oral sex, but there is a very small possibility of getting it this way, possibly, maybe.  It's more likely you'll get hit by a truck on the way to get/give your unprotected oral than catching HIV from performing it, though.

As for other STDs, those are a different story.  Yes, the possibility is there, but transmission during oral is not as common as transmission during intercourse.  Most folks are willing to take the risk.  If you aren't, then don't!  The ladies will understand.

Now, as for the question of BBFS, that's a whole other topic that has been discussed ad nauseum.  The general concensus is to avoid it at all costs.  Although STDs/HIV are a possiblity, so is the possiblity of 18 years of child support payments.
