I have been seeing independent providers and have an obvious question as to fees....when the independent provider says $400 per hour she is getting it plus any extra I feel like contributing. But when the girls are listed in an agency website for $400 per hour she is presumably splitting that with the agency. Is there usually an additional fee or bigger tip for the girl when going through an agency? I did use one agency in Boston and the girl basically said the whole fee went to the agenc for "providing" her to me and anything between us was an additional charge. I paid more but wasn't too happy. What is the deal with the listed fees from an agency?

contact the agency and let them know.  If they don't do what's right (in your mind), then make a post on the Boston Board letting your brothers know.

I typically tip the agency provider about 25% if she is any good.  I do this to blunt the hit from the agency split, which is anywhere from 60/40 to 75/35 provider/agency in %.  Sometimes the split is flip-flopped, but the reviews will reflect that kind of operation  so you should be able to avoid that.

There are several reputable agencies in Boston who quote prices that are inclusive of their fee and the providers time.  If you want to tip a lady that's one thing but you should not have to pay her an additional fee for services above what the agency quoted you.  It is possible that the girl pulled a fast one on you or there is a less ethical agency trying to gain a foothold in Boston.

the girl of your choice was an upsell specialist; unless she just took advantage of you as a newbie.  The agency should, repeat should, compensate you in some way.  Otherwise, you need to let your fellow hobbyists know about the scam she pulled.

I tip waiters and waitresses generously. Likewise the pizza delivery guy, the guy who cuts my hair etc. The reason I tip them is because the above mentioned professions along with several others provide wages that are set low in anticipation that patrons will tip for services provided. Without tips, no one could survive as a waitor or waitress. Hell, its barely a living wage even with tips.

Now, here is the truth about escorting: OUR RATES ARE MORE THAN SUFFICIENT WITHOUT TIPS.

Don't get me wrong, when a gentleman decides to tip, I greatly appreciate it, and take it as a compliment. But tips should NOT be expected. Period.

It is true that agencies do take a portion of the donation you are paying. That is the girl's choice though. Some women work with agencies because it is convenient. She doesn't have to go to the trouble of screening and setting her own appointments. Some women think its safer. Perhaps it is. The truth though, is that there is not an agency out there that keeps ALL of the donation. The girl who told you that snowjobbed you, and I'm sorry that happened.

But remember, if you are paying $$$-$$$$ to see the girl, you can rest assured the agency girl is keeping at least half of that. Even half is still a pretty decent living though. Tips are not necessary to make sure she is earning good money.

So basically, the only time you should tip is when YOU feel she truly went the "extra mile", and YOU wish to show your appreciation for it. Simply coming back to see her again though, is usually every bit as good as a tip. If she expects a tip, its not a tip at all, simply an additional and unnanounced charge for services already agreed upon.

I hate hearing about providers who rip clients off, have fake pictures/bait & switch, upsell, etc. It gives honest providers a bad name, and puts us honest clients out of hard-earned money.

The best we can do to keep this from happening is to report scams out there, so as everyone else has mentioned, please report this woman to her agency. I'm sure you can do so anonymously. Besides, she's probably done it to several other men and wouldn't know it's you reporting her.

The provider exaggerated how much the agency takes so she could upsell you.  Upselling is NOT COOL.  
Essentially, a pay4play is a verbal contract where both sides are expected to hold up their end of the bargain.  X amount of time for Y donation.  Upselling, is breaking that contract, which means you will never trust that service again.  You should inform the service what transpired.  
I predict the girl will not be working there long.  The service ought to offer to make it right with you.

...and not in a good way. Any provider who upsells is a provider who needs to be avoided. It's unprofessionally, and makes the session more legally dangerous (still not a lawyer).

Any decent provider has a single easy to understand fee, and that fee is always all inclusive unless stated clearly up front in her ad.

As for tipping, I typically like to just barely tip when I first see a provider. On repeat visits I like to tip more. I have found that generally you're rewarded for it.

The way I see it, tipping to to show your satisfaction with the service you got.

An agency gal does have to share the fee with the agency obviously, but consider that she doesn't have to pay out of pocket for the ads and marketing that the agency does for her.

Often her transportation is covered by the agency as well.

Neither does she have to spend a lot of time doing emails which is part of marketing (unless she enjoys doing it.)

In short, tipping should not be seen as an income equalizing means.  It is to encourage and reward good service.

the response by the agency.  She's probably new & dislikes the agreement she made with the agency.  She will not have to worry about it for long as the agency will force her to stop it or dump her as she will damage the faith clients have in the agency.  
I don't know how the agency can "make it up to you" but they should try...  but it can not be at the expence of another girl so ???  
If she pulled that on you, she has pulled that on others...  if you or others do not complain, the agency will not know it's happening.
