All,
I have had some great experiences with CL (Los Angeles). The trick I think is being firm, making sure to make it clear that if anything is "off" the deal is also off.
Hope it helps.
Thankls

There are so many providers on CL, some of them look real interesting but most often they dont have any reviews, makes me feel uncomfortable even calling them. Any suggestion about what to look for? TIA!

Choosing one from craigslist without reviews simply makes an initially bad idea even worse, and potentially tragic.

Don't do it.

Craigslist offers much variety, often significant savings, and occasional jewels. It is also offers NO accountability, two-bit pimps, madams and agencies along with a "fish in a barrel" forum for LE efforts.

When you finish your training and can walk across the rice paper without leaving a mark; you will be ready.

I was very reluctant to see a CL provider. I started doing investigations and I found out that many have eros and cityvibe ads. I also did some other checks and found out the ones that I was interested in don't have criminal records. So far I have been lucky.

Traveling providers will use CL when the first get into town before the regular ad shows up.

Sometimes a free ad site goes out of business. The provider had good reviews and they resort to CL. Other times they will use CL if they are under the radar (there SO might know about sites like this).

My guideline is to stick to ones who don't show bar ass/anus (without g-string), bare pussy, or bare tits. That is an indicator they are professional with some class. It is ok to have the stuff exposed if those sections of the image is blurred.

Showing the bare stuff is a sign of desperation.  It also could be a sign that the pictures are stolen. Lets think about it, what woman in her right mind would want to expose everything ?

is also an indicator of independent vs agency
(agencies will send any gal closest to you "(B&S)Bait & Switch".

Always cut & paste the phone number into the "search" box atop page. This will avail how many recent ads are associated with the gal's #.
(multiple posts in one day indicate a ROB agency, also "B&S" can be detected this way)

There are often many UTR ladies lurking the CL boards. A clever ISO by the hobbyist that describes his desires in metaphor while NOT mentioning exchange of money or giving HIS phone # or personal e-mail can catch some tasty fish with the right lure.

CL provides a quick post for marketing.
It also provides a very easy place to post ads that can quickly be acted upon.
And it is a board that's full of rips offs, false advertising along with pro escorts looking to drum up business.
I would say that each city is different and can only speak of Los Angeles since I live here and use that board.
Do a search using the CL search function on the phone number listed.
If only e-mail is listed, that's a slightly better sign it's not an agency nor a rip off.

Take a look at the quality of the pics. If they are shots that look professional, more than likely, the pics are either fake OR that of a pro escort that may have ads up on the usual escort sites.
There are many boards that do list phone numnber of girls who are legit and those not legit.

I've had excellent luck finding non pro girls from students, girls in between jobs, unemployed models/actresses, a few teachers, girls next door and Soccer Moms needing more spicey sex in their life....

CL is a cesspool where you can find some hidden gems. But you have to sort through lots of shit in order to find that one in a million.

I've been extremely fortunate and lucky with CL that I've met many girls that turned out to be some of the best times of my life.

You stated, "If only e-mail is listed, that's a slightly better sign it's not an agency nor a rip off."

Perhaps, but it is also a slightly better sign that it's not who the person claims to be at all.

In some markets, LE has used fake CL provider ads listing email only to gather email addresses and other contact info on hobbyists that contact them.

LE has also posted fake ISO ads on CL listing email only to entice providers to contact them for the same intel-gathering reasons.

Bottom line?  Know your provider, AND your client.  Anything else simply incurs extra and avoidable risk in what is already a risky business.

Play safe, folks.
