I want to thank everyone for their responses.  I'm sure I have no reason to worry -- it's just tough when you're starting out and want to make a good name for yourself.  I only anticipate more great reviews in the future from the sweet hobbyists I've met through TER.  Thanks guys! :)

I'm a relatively new provider and am still in the processes of meeting new gentlemen and setting up my clientele.  As I'm sure is the case with other providers, sometimes there are instances where you decided not to go forward with a client due to varying reasons.  I recently had a brief encounter with a client who I had had some prior communications with (we emailed and spoke on the phone a few times), and though I had a small feeling it wouldn't work out, I went ahead and decided to meet in a public place before "doing anything."  When I met him my instincts REALLY kicked in and I felt very uncomfortable.  When I told him I didn't want to go forward with him, he got upset and seemed as though he was about to become verbally abusive if I hadn't left.

My question is this: he's told me that the majority of his reviews on TER are fake (as to keep his membership), so I'm concerned that he might write a fake and hurtful review of me out of resentment of my rejection.  I hope he's not that petty, but in the off-chance that he is how does a girl go about reporting it?  I mean, in this type of situation it's my word against his, how can a provider protect herself against mean/petty clients?  Does it happen often?  Or do I have nothing to be concerned about?

If you have a good reason to believe a review is false, Staff will usually remove it. I'm not sure of the link you send it to. Hopefully Thirsty or someone else will come along and give you
the link.

The moderators or anybody can see the trend of your reviews, for example, 10 9, 9 9, 9 9, 8 9, 10 9, 10 9, then all of a sudden 3 3. It is obvious. Any court in the land to a 12 year old can see this as likely a bogus review. You should have reversed cutelatina IMHO.

cutelatina04, I've read and written many reviews.  Most of the providers that get a bad review usually deserve it.  Yes, there are a few that don't and most of us who depend on good honest reviews can tell when someone is just having a conflict, or is being a buthead to someone.  I think its your right to refuse if you're not comfortable and actually I dont want to be with a provider who isn't at ease with the situation, it makes things a lot less fun.  Some of the best providers I've had also had some reviews where some one didnt like them.  If you're a godd provider it will show in the reviews.  then again usually cute latinas are some of my favorites!!!

I am a Newbie, but I agree with Rebel Yell and Zgork.  The trend of your reviews should either help you or do you in.  One hobbyist with a grudge should not have an impact.  I am only reading reviews now and not using them but what I normally do is look at the lowest reviews on a provider to look for patterns.  I insure that the dates of the reviews have some spacing on them so that some angry hobbyist cannot cloud the findings that I arrive at.  What I see so far is that a provider who has problems shows tendencies that even the reviewers who give good reviews cannot explain, and generally the provider will have far more than one or two bad reviews.  I am contemplating seeing a provider who has two very good and one so-so review.  If I go through with it, I will definitely pay attention to what was mentioned in the so-so review but in the end will make my own determination of which reviews were the most accurate.

Has anyone else REALLY seen TRUEVENOM??? The guy did a false review on me and I'm finding that other providers claim NOT to have seen him as well, but he's written reviews on several.  I wrote to STAFF about it a long time ago, but they would not remove it.

Any answers on this guy?  Anyone???
