What I'm leading up to is...I truly believe that there are providers who are in the life not just for the money (although it is primarily for the money, let's be real!! ) but also because of their great love of good sex!!

I've been very fortunate in that I've seen some excellent providers who have no qualms about talking candidly about the business and why they are in it. On several occasions I've had a provider tell me that they enjoy the flexibility of satisfying their sexual needs in a variety of ways. I think that it's great that a woman can be so liberated as to state something like that so freely!!

Bottom line...there are woman in the life that are just as horny as we are....and if you're playing safe and being respectful...welll....IT'S A BEAUTIFUL THING!! These woman do provide a valuable social service, and I am very grateful!!  

I agree.  The best providers are the ones that just LOVE their jobs.

However, be assured that the ones who really love their work usually have had horrible, abusive, childhoods.   For most it makes them great providers but it's tragic that things have happened to them.   As always (NOT ALL but SOME/MOST)  

I spent 2-3 years as a driver and the stories the women would tell me about their lives would make your hair stand on end.   It disgusts me to know that there are men out there that do such things to little girls.

As many other members have written, if you find a good provider, treat her well.  Chances are she's lived a nightmare all her young life.  No need to pile on any of your crap, prejudices or ill will.

And the above post is right.  They do a great valuable social service.  I often argue with some women friends who hate "prostitutes, etc.." that they are there to take care of men who have needs and with out them sex assults and violence against women would be insanely high.  

And then I ask, what's worse:  lying to a woman at a bar and buying her a couple drinks so that she's tipsy so that you can talk her into screwing you and then never calling her back - or by helping someone pay their bills or raise their baby by paying a woman for that service.    They usually shut up, cuz they know deep down that it's about power.  Once a woman marries a man, if she doesn't want to put out, she doesn't have to and if the husband cheats, she has a contract that will allow her to take 50% or more of HIS stuff.   Providers kind of cut into that, because it dosen't require any work for the man to get them.   He doesn't have to put on the usual dog and pony puppet show to woo some other woman to sleep with him.  With a provider he just has to make a phone call...

Excellent points Breeder...and I'll go a bit further with the going to a bar vs a provider comparison.

Not only are you eliminating the tiresome barroom BS by seeing a provider...I will also contend that by seeing a top-notch, (and I stress TOP-NOTCH) provider, I believe the risks are less, because a classy provider is going to do everything she can to keep things as safe as possible. You cannot say that about a bar pickup!!

And yes, sadly, your point about the abuse that some of these woman have endured is all too true. But I have to again stress that I've had the good fortune to meet a few providers that have had very normal, non traumatic backgrounds, and they really love the fringe benefit of being able to satisfy their sexual desires. My best experiences have been with providers like these, because we ultimately please each other, which is what it's all about (or what it SHOULD be all about anyway!!).

I hope and pray that the day will arrive when we can eliminate all the hangups and BS game playing that seems to plague so many male/female relationships. Having these great experinces with these wonderful women shows me it is definitely possible!!
