One is to get a fake ID, and use that to see escorts who don't screen very well.  I don't really recommend this however as escorts like that are somewhat lax in security, and worse case you might end up with LE.

The second is to just patronize massage parlors where you can just walk in and have fun, no ID or name needed.

Now, you could also forget about worrying whether a well reviewed providers even cares about all the info above.  You will probably find lots of hobbyists who give out info that would let an escort find all that.  As long as you stick to well reviewed gals you shouldn't have any problems.  They aren't going to spend their time looking up this stuff.  Why should they?

So, I'm completely new to this and have been doing a ton of research (VIP) in order to pop that hobby-cherry!  However, I'm struggling with verification/booking indies.  Here's why:

I have a very unique (int'l) name, and as soon as you simply Google it, the 1st page of results include:

- my profile and picture on my company's web site
- my LinkedIn profile
- my wife's full name
- link to our wedding registry
- my college student-athlete profile on my alma mater's athletics web site

Given all of that, I am obviously VERY nervous to give out my real name to indies via e-mail, or even to get certified with P411.  Does anybody have any sound advice for me?  All of your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I assume your real name is not Alex Deluca, that would be really dumb to use it as your handle here.  You should be safe with the verification sites, but I understand your concern.  They are very discrete or they would not last long as a service.   Most of the verification sites have their servers outside the US I believe which makes them more secure.  I would def not give your name to indies under any circumstances due to what you explained.

Unfortunately, I don't see any workable solution to your problem, aside from the verification sites.

Good luck,
Swim

you'll need to trust them with personal information.  P411 is located in Canada, where prostitution is legal.  Both  services create a "Chinese Wall" between their verified clients and their providers, so your personal information is never shared with a provider.  I am not aware of a single instance where a client's info has been compromised.  That would ruin either service. Does the mean it can never happen?  No.  But if you want to play here you must accept some risks.  Your issue is among the smaller ones.  Now, if you really want to be scared, ask a question about STDs.

ONLY see a well reviewed trusted provider. Simple as that.

If she is an Indie who is well established and well reviewed she will not be malicious, however, don't do anything stupid to cause her to.

When I know a guys real name I forgot it. I really only remember the first name. Once we have a nice meeting there is no reason to keep all your info in my memory as now you are a good client.

rep could care less about the items you listed in your post.  Then, find a lady who uses this verification service, a more mature MILF type will probably be a great choice for a hobby cherry date.  Then, as you see more ladies, you can use the previous date as a reference and repeat the process using previous ladies as references.

I once had a lady, who I met here on TER, tell me she didn't care what my real name was.  I was always "keystone" to her.  Patience my friend.

Good luck.

Now that's what Women like to see! A well established Gentleman. It actually makes screening much less painful for both parties. Most Women feel just as uncomfortable as you do when they have to ask a lot of personal questions but you must understand that the Lady's safety and possibly her life are at stake. I totally understand your apprehension. However if a Lady seems unconcerned with who you are or whom you may be without asking any questions, in my opinion is a red flag! Take your time, do your homework and research the personalities, longevity on this site (using the same name) of the ladies you wish to make acquaintance. A true Lady will AND should always act in a professional, discreet manner. Just be sure and be respectful and polite and she will appreciate and reciprocate in kind. THE WORST THING YOU CAN DO IS LIE. When (not if) she finds out she's going to wonder what your agenda is; are you a serial killer, rapist etc.? DEAL BREAKER!  Don't be evasive and tell the truth. Don't go into "details" and be mindful of what you say or write. The basic rule of thumb is, "Nothing should be asked, assumed or implied" Talk about the weather or something as equally mundane. Although these days most Ladies are well educated and keep up on current affairs, some are even into sports, so find some commonality that you can talk about and get to know one another and you'll both feel more comfortable exchanging information. *Remember she is just as nervous as you are.

As for the screening process, there should be some sort of screening, if not watch out. Some Ladies want references, well you're out-of-luck there. Then the problem with email. They want info. somewhere they can start:  A name, workplace, phone numbers, a form page; just so long as they don't want your Social Security number or your ATM PIN you're probably fine. In my opinion signing up with a screening service won't do you much good but some Ladies expect that too. Every Lady is different. Soooo, what's a poor Newbie to do? What about a good 'ole fashioned telephone call? Remember that thing with a dial tone. A lot of women are going back to "phone only" due to the hundreds of weird and creepy emails they get.

FYI, even though your name is uncommon, and easily searched, that's actually a positive! However, (Ladies if you are reading this listen up) Googling is not a reliable form of screening anyone! There may be thousands of people out there with the same name you are given, listed as Doctors, CEO's, Executives, Business Owners  etc.  For example:  Someone claims he is  "Doctor John Dolittle" (false of course) and has many accolades. He'll undoubtedly be mentioned all over the Internet. His name may be "John Doolittle" but NOT the Doctor mentioned on the internet.  So who is he really? Pretty scary. Unfortunately there are a few bad apples out there that just have too much time on their hands or are truly dangerous and it ruins it for everyone, Ladies and Gents alike; I'm sure the true Gentlemen in this forum would agree.

Well that's my two cents. Good luck to you!

Xo's,
Cara

I have an international name which is VERY uncommon in the US (but not so much in my country of origin). As others have said already, if you stick to the very well reviewed providers and/or agencies, you should be ok.

A note about google search: their search results are personalized, even when you are logged out. Have a look at their blog post (link at the end).
What this means is that someone googling you from another computer might not see the same results that you do. A quick way to check is to clear all private data (cache, cookies, history) on your browser after signing out of google, and then searching for your name. This way you will see the search results other people would be getting.

I started last year by seeing well-reviewed providers who happened to be newbie friendly. I didn't seek them out for that. I just liked their pics and reviews. When I introduced myself and described my situation, they agreed to see me. They never asked for my full name or work info.

With their references, I was able to see others who happened to be members of Date-Check and P411. I learned that both services allow you to join without giving your personal info if you have one or two OKs from provider members. Since joining, I have had no problems getting screened, between all my DC/P411 OKs and references.

I didn't set out to do it this way. It's just the way things worked out. For one thing, the area where I live must be less stringent about screening requirements than some places. With research and patience, however, I believe it can work for others.

I'm single and self-employed/semi-retired, so I have less to lose than most men if I were to get outed. Still, as long as I've kept my name out of it to this point, I'd just as soon continue to. I'd rather not risk showing up in an embarassing Google search if I can avoid it. So I appreciate your concern.

Thank you to ALL who have responded so far!  To answer a few questions, yes obviously Alex Deluca is not my real name.  This is my separate name, cell phone, e-mail, and persona I have been using for playing/swinging on the side for years.

It seems to me that most well reviewed indies will NOT feel safe enough with a newbie, who has no reviews and is only certified with P411.  I would (more than likely) will have to end up giving out my real name.  From what I understand, the key is to reach out to well reviewed (often and recent) providers, who have been described as a professional by hobbyists.

I'm thinking to go for a more mature MILF in the LA area, who does Incall at her place, and who is well reviewed.  After I line up a few references, I can get P411 certified using those references, and it should be easier to book further providers.  Thoughts?

Better yet, any recommendations of specific providers?  Thank you, ALL!

to do the damage out of possibly dozens a hobbyist might give his name to. Reviews and research can tell us which providers we can count on for a safe, good time in the bedroom, but it's impossible to know enough about them to trust them all to keep a secret forever.

I've seen too many examples of well reviewed, seemingly reputable providers who have threatened to out customers over petty matters, actually outed other providers, blacklisted clients over misunderstandings, included unsecured screening forms on their websites, posted cavalier attitudes about confidentiality, etc. etc. Not to mention the increasing trend for leaks and hacking and everything becoming Googleable.

I think that any hobbyist who regularly gives out his full name is fooling himself if he believes it is safe just because the providers all have a lot of good reviews and a classy website.

because I'm not from your area.  I think someone mentioned this, but it won't hurt to repeat to look for providers that advertise 'newbie friendly'.   You will be more likely to find them looking as you mentioned, for a more mature MILF.  As long as she is well-reviewed, you should be good to go.

by clicking on a provider's P411 profile and reading the 'Willing to see' line to the left of her photo. Many will say, e.g., P411 Members with 2 or more okays, but some will say Newbie-Friendly. In LA, I would expect there to be a good selection. (BTW, only members can search for newbie friendly providers. Non-members need to click on each profile and check the line, although you can search by city.)

Then, once you've seen two of them, with their okays, you could join P411 without giving out much personal information.
