if you plan on doing this more than once or twice.  
DO NOT search for companions on Backpage.  Only use TER (since you were smart to get VIP access), P411, or Date Check.   P411 advertisers are current, whereas Date Check doesn't seem to delete old or inactive accounts.  
As you look for a companion, read every page of their website, and a good number of her reviews.  
This should answer nearly every question you can think of.   Read before contacting.  
When you contact a companion by email, my suggestions is this format:

Hi, my name is John Doe.  My cellphone number is 555-123-4567 and email is [email protected]
I found your ad on TER.
My P411 ID is john 11 A 1234, DC is jd1234m, TER ID is is bmanh
I am interested to see if you have 90 minutes available on Monday 28th in the late morning.
