Please, this is frustrating!! What gift cards are known to work???  A registered vanilla mastercard does not.  Where did you get the card??

you can buy visa/mc giftcards where ever gift cards are sold-

you can buy them from any bank as well

I know where to buy them!  My question was what gift card works (eg which one is accepted by ccbill....the company that deals with TER's online money transaction for VIP membership).

I have seen a bunch on the market, but like I said, the vanilla mastercard gift card is not accepted by ccbill.

I got my VISA card at the A&P, it worked fine.

What was the exact type of Visa gift card (eg green dot, vanilla visa, etc.)....it appears that ccbill is extremely anal about the type of gift card it accepts....like I said it rejected by Vanilla mastercard even after I registered it.  I emailed them and got no response.  

I'm trying to avoid going thru 50 cards to find a winner.

By the sounds of other peoples' posts, it is a very common problem and alot of people are in the same boat as I am.

Blue packaging all access visa card

Use a MasterCard GIFTCARD that you register at giftcardbalance123 com.  It's stated on the back of the card.  Also note that you will want to use the one time charge option with this, not the recurring charge.

I use a "Vanilla" MC gift card from Wells.  
For Internet purchases, the card requires that you register online with a name (make one up), address (bus depot works fine), and telephone number (hobby phone).  Remember this info, as it has to match what you give CC bill.
The last gotcha when using the card for TER VIP, is that CC Bill takes the exchange rate into account; a $100.00 gift card doesn't always add up to $100.00.
Just make sure you put an extra $25.00 or so on the card, and you shouldn't have a problem.
