Well, I was hoping to sort out non-attributable VIP online payment before my subscription expired.  Too late; I'm back to basic membership.  My first VIP I did using a money order and it took several weeks.  Has anyone had any recent success using the Vanilla MasterCard Bill Payment card for the VIP CCBill transaction?  Thanks!

I had to figure out a way to join VIP discreetly.  A provider suggested I buy a "Green Dot Visa card" from the local drugstore. You can pay with cash. After purchase, you activate the card by phone (the amount is already on the card at the time of purchase).  It does a require a name.  After activation, you can sign up for VIP using the card.  A real card will be sent to some address; the decison for you is "real or make believe."  Record of the VIP sign up is quite discreet....buy, enroll, and burn.  Thanks to Tiffany for the guidance.....

mrfisher -

Yes, I discovered the gift card problem during my first go with CCBill and a Vanilla Visa gift card, which is when I resorted to the money order approach.  I had since seen a report of a successful payment method using Vanilla Bill Pay MasterCard.  This apparently requires a name, but no government identification such SSN, etc., so the name can be whatever, so long as both the registration and transaction reflect the same name.  I'm missing my VIP and looking to get it reinstated ASAP  ;-)

I thought the Green Dot Visas required some kind of government ID for activation.  Maybe that's just the reloadable ones?  I'll have to take another look.  Thanks.

...but it works on alot of other sites that generally don't accept the gift card. You have to go to the cc site after you purchase the card and enter your info. Make sure you know your zip and even though it is a debit card, run it as credit.

Good luck
(if it doesn't work you can always buy gas and try another pre=pay card)
