How does one become "unmoderated" (if thats the correct term) from having post go through a review  period?

You'll see that the moderator here is DC. Click on the little green letters, and send him a PM. If you don't have VIP membership, you'll need to get it before you can PM. (I think)

Your local Mod is the regional board Moderator closest to the city/state where you live.
