Hmmm... I get a lot of calls off my BP ad (which apparently they don't bother to read even though I ask nicely to please read the ad and the site first) and when I've directed them to the site I ask that they please fill out the booking form.

Hmph.  I've gotten ONE form back and it was from myself testing it out.  Is the booking form that intimidating or something?  Or maybe they're just wanting it as quickly as BP ads seem to imply?  All my work thus far has been referrals.  Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking it, just curious.

I assume, cause I'm still new, it'll pick up eventually.  Was just wondering if other ladies had this issue with the booking form or not?

Some guys just will not fill out on-line booking forms.  There is a fair amount of opinion among hobbyists about putting all their personal information on a form that is often routed through a third party server.

Also, a lot of guys on Back Page ARE looking for immediate gratification.  I know the only time I use it is when I'm traveling and a planned date falls through.

When a gentleman emails me, I reply with a template greeting him and asking him to send the same information that is requested on the contact form. If he still does not want to complete my verification process, I delete his email...sometimes I even block his email address.

Now if only I could figure out how to get to all my emails in addition to the rest of my admin work, I would be a genius!

I tend not to use forms but e-mail as much of the info as I have.  Since I'm retired, I have to use alternate verification processes, which I explain in my first e-mail.  Now TER members are generally better in tune to the right way to hobby, I can't speak to gents reading ads.

BP/CL clients are, to make a sweeping generalization, interested in a quick date involving minimal effort on their part. While screening online has become more common for ladies advertising on BP/CL, the norm (last I checked) has been verification on the phone. As you mentioned, they are accustomed to immediate contact and follow-through, not careful screening and planning ahead.

I do all my screening via my form (or the same info in an email) or through P411/Date-Check. Occasionally I'll get someone resistant to being screened the way I do it, and that's okay; he can see someone else whose verification methods suit him better.

It will get easier as you become more established. You'll still get a few clients here and there who balk at sending info, but as you become less of an unknown, you'll get more clients educated in hobby know-how who understand and don't complain (too much ) about screening.

I had a number i tried posting.. but every call i got from Bp has been young men.. playing games. If they dont want to follow your wishes... there not worth seeing. Your safety is the up-most important.

Definitely agree, hon.  I had to rethink my whole screening process as it turned out to be a little shoddy.  Now I don't accept anyone without the screening first.  

1) I am usually looking for something in the near future, and a booking form usually means that it will be "long term" before anything happens.

2) Sometimes it takes a few days for any response to come back, and sometimes a response never comes back.  

3) It is so impersonal.  

4) If I am available on Tuesday from 11A to 6P, and her form has note that she wants a specific time, how do I put that in?   And what if the specific time I want is unavailable, but other times are available.  Then there is the "back and forth"

5) I much prefer hearing the voice of the woman since I feel the voice connection is much more powerful than email messages.

That's a major problem for me, as i do not like to send in detailed info via a form unless the provider is a well verified independent.  If I really want an appointment, I'll give it to you via my hobby phone, but as others have noted, I'm wary about filling out a detailed form that may go to an agency (notorious for retaining info and having it seixed/publicized by LE if there is a bust) or go to a scam.

And I can definitely understand that precaution.  Honestly, the form just helps to facilitate my scheduling so I don't have conflicts.

However, I can see the reluctance.  I think I will take Gia's advice here and put down that an email with the same information or approximation thereof is acceptable, too.

I won't fill out a form either, but I rarely have much problems supplying the info requested. A little flexibility goes a long way with me. I respond quite well to requests, but if an ad is phrased to look like a demand it turns me off immediately.

I will tell the lady thatI am a member of Date-Check & P411, and will gladly provide my ID numbers, as well as references, if she needs them. If this isn't enough, I will keep looking.

Aside from having my personal information floating around in places that I'm not sure of, I also find forms very impersonal.

Hey, you always have a date with me, honey, your info is plenty based just on the above.  Hmm I didn't think about it being impersonal, though, that's an excellent point.  

Honestly, I don't want to appear stringent or demanding about it at all.  As I said, it helps facilitate my scheduling because the form is a direct post into my calendar for me.  Heh, I'm such a geek, it took me all night to code that.

What happens if someone insists that you be turned off by their demands?  What do you do then?

In my experiences with Booking forms, either I get a reply a week later, or I never get a reply. If a form is to be the first mode of contact, I move on to another lady.

I'm not sure if these forms don't work well, or what. First contact needs to be email or phone. I can provide the details you need by email, if you prefer. But the forms themselves leave something to be desired...

Perhaps you have been dealing with ladies who websites are not professionally built.

You are probably correct, that the websites were built poorly. But if you look at all the responses on this thread, most of the guys are complaining about entering form info, only to hear back 2 weeks later, or never.

I really don't know if the form was bad, if the provider doesn't read her email, or if she saw something in my responses that she didn't like. I have no clue. But the end result is I no longer deal with forms.

I have only tried to use them a few times.

Not once have I managed to get a response from the form alone.  One time, when I was first starting out, I filled out the form, eagerly awaited the reply, and ... nothing.  Waited two weeks and gave up.  Since I was relatively new then, I figured she had some reason that she didn't want to see me.  I moved on.

The other two times, I filled out the form and waited.  Once again, no replies.  But this time, I wasn't as worried about possibly irritating the provider.  Called one of them and got the ball rolling.  The other I sent an email and got a response in a couple days.

Like many of the others, I am no fan of online forms.  Not a good track record of responses for me.  I have more confidence that the provider actually receives my emails or voice messages.  If she chooses not to respond then, I figure she has made her choice.  With the forms, I'm never even sure that my communication got through.
