I have noticed this phrase at the beginning of several reviews.

It seems to refer to a protocol for communication between providers and clients, but, I can't find any more details regarding it.

Here are my questions...

After the appointment is set the gentleman calls the lady and she gives him a place to drive to (in the vicinity of the appointment) and then the the gentlemen calls a second time for the actual location of the appointment.

1.  usually first call (sometimes an e-mail or text) is day of, sometimes a day before or earlier if you've seen her before, second is when you get there

2.  provider usually takes reins for first, the gentleman calls for second

3.  purpose is to give location as other poster said - first is general area (or hotel if provider is visiting/touring), second is specific location, or room number if at hotel

4.  you'll hear the stuff in number 3 - these calls are not chit-chat calls, they're just to coordinate things

5.  usually you'll confirm the appt during the first - "we're still on for *time*" but it depends on where they are made...for second, if you're outside you should be very discreet - "hey, it's *your name*, i'm downstairs" then she'll give you specific info and you go from there

Two call system is generally for security purposes.

The first phone call, usually an hour or so ahead of the appointed time, will provide you with the directions to get to her general location, wihtout actually revealing her specific location. The reason most ladies don't want to provide enough information to actually lead you right to her door at this point is for our security. No shows happen. We don't want some stranger running around knowing how to find us. Scary!

The second phone call happens just before the appointment, once you've arrived. For some ladies, like myself, the first call puts you in a location where I can observe you as you enter my building. I'm looking to verify that you are alone when you arrive, then and only then do I tell you which building to enter and which door to knock on. Then I watch to verify tht you enter the building alone. Its just one way to keep myself safe.
