it looks like you are..i started with rs2k to get my foot in the door..p411 accepted me with provider references..p411 is strictly legit in my opinion..i have had nothing but good luck there despite your fears..i have never had to give out my employment info..you probably have no other choice..

Hi - first time poster, and newbie.  I will be in LA in mid June, and have spent some time researching providers, with a bias towards the higher end.  One in particular, has caught my attention and offers employment-based screening, as one of three options.  I am confident that if I provide the relevant information, that I should pass screening.  I am easy to verify, given that I am CEO of a tech company that has a web presence.  I can be found on the web fairly easily, even though the company is one that no one has heard of much.  It will be clear to any provider that I am who I say I am.  I am also willing for the first encounter to start with a drink or dinner so that the provider can see for themselves who I am before taking any risk.  In short, I support and understand the need for screening.

That leads to my primary concern and question.  I will not use sites like 411.  My feeling is that someday, a zealous government official is going to take aim at those sites, and everyone on them is going to get exposed.  I am more comfortable with dealing with providers individually, until I can get referenceable.  Just a personal preference regarding risk tolerance.

For those that have done employment based screening with providers, have you ever seen any evidence that your personal information has been compromised in any way?  Or have you heard of others who have had their information compromised?

Thanks in advance.

i have never done employment based screening and never will..there are plenty of providers who do not use it..i tend to stay with them..most say your private information will be destroyed upon verification..it might be true but no one will ever know for sure..i just will not risk it..you say you have three options..use the other ones available..

MacDaddy,

The thing is, method 1 is 411 and other verification sites.  Plus this one.  I have no history here, so I cannot see that working.  As mentioned in my original post, I have more concerns about the 411 sites.  Just too big of a target in  my opinion.  The second method is two provider references, which I don't have.  So I am down to employment-based by the looks of things.

There are quite a few cases where crazy paid escorts out their clients for all sorts of imaginary reasons. Your best bet is to CAREFULLY screen the escorts and weed out the crazy ones. You should also realize that if you're afraid of getting burned, you shouldn't play with fire.

Thanks everyone.  This question will prove I am a newbie.  Assuming I was to use something like 411 or any other similar method, then the provider is still going to find out my real identity anyway, right?  I assume, appointments with reputable, higher end ladies who protect themselves are not going to be accepted from people who don't provide this information?

So it seems to me that this information is going to get out if I end up getting a booking anyway?  Which tells me that careful screening is necessary no matter how I get verified.

Note to providers:  Those of you that provide well done web sites, including blogs make the careful ones like me much more likely to become a customer.  That plus solid reviews from here.

I understand your concerns, as I initially had them myself.  For my first screening I had to provide employment information, but I have to say the process was completely painless.  The not knowing what to expect was the hardest part.  After that . . . no worries at all.  I have not joined anything like P411, but VIP on here has been awfully useful.  Use a top-tier provider, and I bet she'll set your mind at ease.

Being part of this industry is a risk man.  There are not guarantees.  Let's just say for example that there's a 90% chance your info will remain confidential, and a 10% chance it will be exposed.  You have to decide for yourself whether that 10% risk is worth what you are getting in return... that being a session with a provider.

The "higher end" providers tend to be the ones who are most uptight and paranoid.  Most of them demand P411 or Date Check with multiple references.  Note that I said most of them, not all of them.

Just like there's a risk of a cover breaking.  There are always going to be risks of some kind in this industry.  You just have to decide if you're comfortable with the rewards and benefits you get in exchange.  Much like gambling on the stock market I guess.

In my case this really doesn't bother me because I'm single, my friends wouldn't care about my hobby, and I haven't professed to be a religious person since I was a teenager.  So even if I was discovered, I would have little to lose.  However, your circumstances might be different.  You just have to make a choice.
