I received an email from a potential client whose wife had hacked his email and threw all of his clothes on their front lawn. Needless to say he cancelled.
She even took it one step further and tried to book a "couples" appointment for the two of them to catch him. She also called me!
Guys. While you are letting the "little head" do the thinking about your erotic adventures, make sure your "big head" is covering your a*s!
DON'T use your work computer to set up appointments and DON'T use your work email for correspondence UNLES0 you own the company or are in charge of the I.T. Department. Your employer may see everything you are doing. It's their right!!
DO set up a "hobby" email account. Use a password that no one will guess. If you share a computer, and your S/O gets suspicious, there are "key logging" programs that can be installed that will capture every keystroke you make.
DO buy a history washing program and use it every time you get off the computer. If you make it a habit, you won't slip up!
DON'T use an email address such as "LIKEPUSSY.". On the off chance that your spouse comes up behind you while you are using this account, this screen name will surely raise red flags. Also do not save hobby related correspondence for "sentimental reasons" as they could make good reading for her divorce attorney.
DO invest in a hobby phone or make sure that your spouse does not AND cannot get access to your phone records!!! Even if she is not on the account, phone records can be subpoenaed. DO put this phone in a secure place and invest in a car charger and NEVER charge it at home!
DO throw away directions to the lady's incall and her phone number immediately after the appointment and before returning home!
DO wash your face and hands and gargle with mouthwash before returning home, especially if you dined at the Y. Bringing home leftovers is strongly discouraged. Plus this ensures you remove any makeup residue and the smell of wine if you had a drink with the lady.
Finally do have your story in order in case:
A) she calls your cell and you did not answer,
B) she called your work and you left early
C) you arrive home later than you intended due to traffic.
Just a reminder that you cannot be too careful!
PS there are programs available intended to seek out "key Logger" programs on your PC. You can find them by doing a google search.
great ideas, i concur with all of them. the only item i woUld add is hide your money too. never use your credit card for anything: not parking, not tolls, nothing. find a good reason to have cash and squirrell it away. my excuse is gambling, spcifically horse racing. i even keep a copy of the racing form with my cash in case of the unlikely event it were
discovered.
set up a slush fund and fuel it regularly with small contributions to save up for the appointments.
Set up your washer to run on shut down. Keep your secutity & AntiVirus up to date.
Never use employer's computer OR internet access on your personal laptop for adult purposes... YES, the company is within their rights to monitor use of their equipment! Guys have been fired from 5 figure jobs over this.
NEVER turn over a live computer to another user... always shut it down... accidentally if necessary. Never surf adult sites when there are others in close proximity... Never leave the computer open if you step away... not even to pee!
Use a free hobby email... not similar to your regular email & have a strong password.
Keep your regular phone clean. I clear all sent & recieved calls from my hobby phone before I leave.
If you have the phone number & address on a slip of paper, leave it with her or trash it discreetly before leaving.
Do not have strange hotels programed in your GPS. Is there a resturant, store or gas station in sight of the location?
Do wash face, hands, mouthwash... great thought. Women can smell sex a block away.
Do not use your credit card someplace you should not be...
Do not use EZ Pass someplace you should not be.
When I started the hobby, I promised myself I'd not do anything "stupid". I did not think I had. But as I read here, I found that I had been relying entirely too much on luck... and "luck" is not a plan. I have revised my security...
Be Smart out there.

I'll add my voice to the most excellent suggestions above. But where to keep the hobby phone, hobby phone, hobby computer, hobby cash, and the like? I purchased a large floor safe, for important papers, I told the SO, and keep my hobby related items within. Since only I have the combo, its completely secure. And nothing comes except going to or from an appointment. Finally, I suggest using an unsecured wireless network belonging to someone else for all hobby-related activities, and not your own DSL or cable connection.
