Re: Providers who are unhappy with reviews

I went to a well reviewed provider and was disappointed with the session.
I wrote a review. I didn't insult the provider or give her an especially low rating.
I believe I gave a fair review.
I've now received a couple of angry E-mails asking me to remove my review since it's hurting business.
She has offered me my money back and a free session if I remove the review.
While I believe I wrote an honest review I certainly don't want to hurt someone's livelihood, especially in these hard times.
What are my options?

It seems that she gave you a couple options...refund, free session, or leave the review.

Only you know which makes sense.  You CAN ask to have the review pulled, although most of us would rather that you didn't.  It really depends; do you feel that your review was unfair?

Perhaps you could see her again, and review that session.  See if she'd be OK with the deal she offered, in return for you writing an HONEST review of that time together.  It would replace the first one.

Every girl wants a 10/10.  Most are 6s or 7s in appearance  at best.  This site relies on the integrity of the reviewers, and you said you were fair. Do not be intimidated or harassed by her, and she continues to badger you, report her to STAFF!

There are now nine providers who are suspect because you did not use an alias to post this (which was your right, but posts like these are a good reason for alias use).

If you remove your review, IMHO, you are committing review fraud because you are on record as believing that the review is accurate.  I would presume TER would not pull it (they now own it) for the reason given because the integrity of the review system is THE paramount concern of this site.  Allowing her to pressure you into removing it gives her control over the review, thereby degrading that review integrity.

Your review isn't hurting her business, her performance during your session is.  A lot of providers get a lower review than normal for many reasons, and they just have to live with it and move on if the review itself isn't fraudulent.

One of your options is to out her so that other hobbyists don't get caught in the same kind of situation.  Another option is to just let it go.  And a third option would be what Little Phil suggested by having another session and replacing your review.  However, you will need to read the re-review guidelines before you do that.

Good luck

is an honest representation of the session, let it stand. Without objective viewpoints, then review system is rendered useless.

Your review that "she was unable to top you" probably hurt her Manhood.  Pre -op trannies that can't get hard are like tits on a bull.  LMFAO

This has happened to me before.

I say that you need to leave your review as it is.  If you are truly interested in having another session with the provider (not simply to help them, but because you think you will have a better time that is worth your money), then by all means, book another appointment.  But do not bow to pressure from a provider simply because she thinks your single review is, "hurting her business."

The provider that wanted me to change my review sent me an email explaining that she, "can't have any scores below 9s or 10s."  She asked me to raise my score because she felt it was my fault that our time together wasn't what I wanted it to be.  I sent her a long, detailed carefully worded reply explaining why I scored it the way I did, and why I wasn't going to change it.

She also claimed that she had never asked anyone else to change one of her reviews.  Somehow I doubt that to be true.

Either way, it is obviously your decision, but TER will become basically worthless without complete and honest reviews.  Look at it this way, by giving her a higher score than she earned, you are hurting every other provider that honestly earns those high scores.

I actually read the whole thing, now I am stuck trying to get the bile out of my throat. lol

I do believe in "different strokes etc" I just don't really want to hear all the gory details. I guess it was my own fault, I could have stopped reading or never started in the first place. lol

you have reviewed a favor. They say there's no such thing as bad PR, and a lot of guys will be looking at the reviews you wrote.

Who knows? Your post may end up generating some business.

Just a thought

I say let it stand.

A review is the result of your impressions of your session. I'd never skip a provider just because of one bad review out of a bunch of good ones.

And, seriously, your review was not horrible.

And that could open a whole new bad trend....
Hobbiest giving low review & then seeing if provider will give a free session for a new review.

I 'vote' to just leave as-is.
No single poor or mediocer review is going to be devestating.  Sometime folks just don't click, no big deal.

I also agree with no such thing as BAD PR!

I don't think a single low review is "hurting her business" as long as you were fair.  I usually look for reviews that have roughly consistant scores but will look first at the lowest score to see the details.  If she really tryed but he was hung up on 'not my type'...  and we all know chemistry can not be forced...  then I'd not eliminate her.
Lets say I'm looking at a lady with an 8 average...  I'd expect to see a range of 7-8-9.  (+1 / -1).  I then read all the reviews or at least the last page if many.
What I'd not expect to see a 2 or 3 thrown in there.  If I did see that, I'd judge them to be "moody" & with my luck, I catch them in a bad mood.  Or they perform well with young fit guys which I'm not either.
Successful ladies go on my bucket list.

However, if it's Free and it's up to him to write the review, then it's arguably not fraud.  I can't see how she would take the fuck back if he either didn't write the review, or wrote a similar or worse one.

All in all though, it would be better just to move on without doing anything to the review.

Leave it. I doubt your review has anything to do with making or breaking her buisness. Her ego is probably damaged and damage control is her responsibility, not yours.

Thanks for all the feedback.

Should I have created a new alias to hide my regular TER alias? I'm not sure. I read reviews to deceide who to see. If one review is very different from others I check out other reviews by the same reviewer to see if they are consistent. If a person has to many aliases how can we compare their reviews?

I can't imagine going back to a provider whose written me such angry letters (they keep coming).

I've deceided to let the review stand. It was an honest and fair review. If I knew she would harass me afterwards I wouldn't have been as gentle as I was.

( on my side of the fence...)

If it was an honest review, that is their problem.  If they lose biz because of quality of service, they should have done better.  On another note, this board is kind of like a BBB of sorts (lol) and bribing you to get the review they want is being dishonest.  and misleading anyone who takes your review as weight in gold.  We (providers) want great reviews but we understand that everyone has differant tastes and as long as your not bashing us or trying to make us lose biz... then who cares.
