I feel really stupid asking these questions, but the FAQ didn't answer them, so I'm throwing it out there to the masses. I was doing pretty good business when I was living in Seattle, but now I've moved back East. I don't have a website (problem number one), I need to have new pictures taken because my old ones are horrible, and I just generally feel lost.

Can anyone advise me on this? I need some business and I'm a great provider, I just don't have a site yet!

How do I find a good photographer?

You can then view the pictures of gals from their sites and decide if the person is right for you.

Good for you for knowing that good photos are half the battle.

As for a site, some put them down, but the free sites that many of the gals use are just fine if you don't have the time, money or inclination to set up your own.

You can download them for free and add content as you see fit.

Did you have any reviews anywhere when you were out in Seattle?  If so, you should be prepared to let anyone who inquires read them.

Getting good reviews is the biggest part of getting started.

Finally, I would suggest that you participate a lot on this and other TER boards, especially your local board, as a way of people getting to know you.

Best wishes on starting over.

Try ModelBrigade.com

The site should allow you to connect with a person near you who can provide the services you are looking for. You need to sign up to get full access. Don't exchange money until you verify that services offered are valid. You can try meetings in public places to select the photographer.

Yes, a web site is very helpful but you can use a link to an ad on an escort mall like cityvibe or Eros.

If you provide good service for a reasonable price you will succeed.  Good luke.

You can check several providers in your area, look at their websites and usually at the bottom of the site, there is a link to who made there site for them. One site thats reasonable is providers assistant (check link below). their rates range from 200-400 for a 3-9 page website and they can usually hook you up with a great photographer.

pm me if you have anymore questions.

Suggestions for photos:  Be more tasteful than not. Don't display everything you have, and avoid tortuous, unflattering, positions. Keep your pictures accurate and up to date. If you have an attractive face, show enough of it to demonstrate that fact while obscuring enough of it to remain unidentifiable (if that's your goal).  Just food for thought.
