Can you tell us what some of the red flags are?

So I found this provider on cityvibe and she seems legit, but I have been unable to find history of her other than on the site. Is this something to be wary of? Her description says she hasn't been on there long?

The more good reviews, the better.  The better established she is, the better.  In conjunction with her being satisfactory in appearance from the pics on her website, you have the ingredients needed to to consider sending that first e-mail.  If anything is lacking, keep searching...

I completely understand, but what about pro providers who started as newbies? Pros were seen as newbies before without reviews. It's sad because alot of newbies like myself have joined this site.  But it's not right to shun away hobbyists from newbies due to no reviews.  I've had men tell me they have had excellent providers, but never provided a reference.  Alot of hobbyists never even heard of these sites.  These hobbyists are actually scared because of bad providers, comments pertaining to unreviewed newbies, and for them to stay away from us.  I wouldn't flat out tell a hobbyist to look elsewhere like I've seen in postings for weeks.  I don't think it's fair and we good ones deserve a chance too. I think the fall of CL has also become a culprit here for not so hot providers also.  These men want honest, intelligent, and beautiful women like ourselves to have a good time.  That's why TER is available to not only newbies, but pros, so men can choose.  Not being scared away because he sees newbie.  Thanks to the www there are so many sites to find out about fake pics and all.  So let's not make this board, "stay away from newbies" because we have all started out the same!  WITHOUT REVIEWS!

I totally agree with this one.  If the girl is visiting in your local area check her out.  But some of us, only a few newbies(the good ones) deserve a chance:)  And very well put MrFisher:)

If she has no reviews and ONLY posts on cityvibe.com be weary...

However if she has 2+ reviews(good ones that is) then I would consider e-mailing her. You never know, she could be just starting out...I've been there! So use common sense and look for red flags when you chat with her. BE SAFE AND SMART!

I hope I do not get grrred at for saying this but, I feel that if she doesn't screen you, especially with you being a newbie, I would pass.  I know it sucks because, screening is annoying but, if you contact her and it goes like this:

"Hello, my name is John and I was wondering if you are available in the next few hours?"
"Yes, I am"
"Great I would like to see you at five"
"OK, I am at the Old Mill Motel."
"OK..."
"Call me when you get there.  Bye"

I good provider cares for her safety and yours.

She doesn't have any reviews, but she also said she is just starting out. She also (through email) has not asked any questions or screened. But if she is new there is the possibility she is ignorant I suppose

You're new, she's new (or so she says) and you're thinking about going for it.  Bigger balls than me, my friend.

very true because a good provider does alot of research and puts in time for websites and such.  If she doesn't have a website(a decent one) as a newbie, it should be a must. I think it helped me alot and my friends received well informed info on my site.

Yes sir you have a very valid point.  I'm not getting into the linguistics here, but all of us must be safe.  Our safety is and should be a concern.   As I stated previously, a newbie does not=bad service.  Each hobbyist has the right to see a well reviewed provider.  But the purpose of TER is to review newbies AND pros along with assisting newbies on their new venture. Since I've joined TER,  alot of the postings I've seen are discriminatory toward newbies.  Yes you have the right to choose and we have the right to screen. Hobbyists are sometimes rejected because they are newbies.  And I feel that not all hobbyists are jerks and deserve a chance. My whole point is newbies should not have a stigma unless---you know for a fact she uses fake pictures, associates with LE and cannot be found on other sites ex. cityvibe, date-check, and eros.  I'm not posting to step on toes, but I've met newbies like myself and we are tired of this "newbie stigma".   But like I said feel free to choose, but know that pros have not so hot reviews also.  So really it's a win win scenario:) Enjoy your weekend sir;)

I don't write that out a a first to the target instinct. Experienced hobbyists have tried new providers and the smart ones know what to look for in the provider's phone and/or email behavior. One will review her some where. You inexperience will cause you to walk into traps, all hobbyists were there at one time.

I have read the postings and to some I agree and others I don't.  As a newbie, I understand exactly what you are going through.  Not all providers are bad because of lack of reviews. It's tacky and rude.  It would be as if I went to my boss and asked for a raise on my first day of work lol.  If that means I see less friends, fine.  But you always have options.  It's actually sad on both sides because the hobbyists should know what they are getting into.  Not some sort of surprise i.e. LE, fugly you get my drift:)  But the good providers, like myself and others are passed over because of no reviews.  Even in my joining TER, some providers have awful reviews.  They still see hobbyists, so it can go both ways.  There are websites to go on to ween out fake pictures and all.  But I guess the whole CL thing has everyone wary of bad providers.  I hope you find a nice lady to have fun with.  But please don't pass on newbies, because even the pros started without reviews.  Not all of us are bad:)  But do your research also.

The above are your own words.

If I can't verify you as a provider, why should I see you? Do you follow so far?
Just because I provider gets a website does not give her instant legitimacy. Reviews do.

I have stated many times before. A newbie hobbyist should NOT be seeing a newbie provider that cannot be verified by reviews.
On the other hand, I have TOFTT in the past, but experience is the difference.
No one is saying that a hobbyist should not see a new and unreviewed provider.

Even if she's new unless it's her first day she should have some type of decent providing internet history. A  lot of people seem legit until to you find out they aren't right?

Newbies are better off staying with reviewed providers, BUT. I am an experienced hobbyist that try newbie providers if they strike my fancy. I look for a number of features in their ads and behavior. If a newbie wants to give a newbie provider a shot, these are items that my experience say must be heeded.
-If she has an ad with an email link, I try emailing her a base email stating interest and whether she is available for my type, ie, race, weight, age, profession, et al. If she does not answer the email, I move on. She is either a quick buck artist, will not see me based upon an issue with my race, weight, profession, age, et al, or is disorganized. The quick buck type will rip me off. The disorganized type leaves a trail that law enforcement will eventually become wise to. I don't want to spend time with a provider who has an issue with my appearance or profession.
-If I do a brief email or call, I propose a date on a day other than the one I emailed or called. If she does not respond to email or snaps that I can call her when I am ready to visit, I move on. No email response brings in the problems listed above. Irritation with me not wanting to visit same day implies that the provider is a quick buck artist or is not particularly discreet about who walks into a room with her. My experience has taught me that providers that are pleasant and willing to see me on a future date are legit, they may not be top notch, but they are legit. I don't waste a provider's time with long emails or phones calls. I am plain vanilla during the contact, nothing sexual is stated or implied.
-I look for multiple ads from the provider. I look to see whether the provider's age changes in ads. If a picture is posted, I examine it to determine whether she hides features that don't need to be hidden. I like an age range for providers I visit. I check a provider's ad to see whether she hides her age, or as pointed out, mistates it. Multiple ads are not bad, per se, but I examine them for consistency, pictures that match, age that match, looks that match, et al. If a provider hides her age, the possibility is that she is older than I desire. Or that she is underaged, making her of no interest to me from the perspective of her providing services to me.
