Perception is everything.. that is one of my all time favorite statements!!!
Also, every generation is slightly different than the next. "Hippie" generation.. free love.. multiple partners.. so I doubt the average for a woman than was 5-10 partners a lifetime. My generation was more-so.. the guys do it all the time(have multiple sex partners and there's no double standard) so why can't we?? Oh, we can? 5-10.. OK, well, it wasn't much higher than that before I entered being a provider... but the younger generation I'd say on average is a new guy every weekend-every other weekend, sometimes multiple different guys on the same weekend.. and their use of protection is about 50-50 I'd say. I've met WAY more civie friends who have contracted an STD, than I've ever heard of a provider in the same circumstances..
Do you find yourself whether provider or hobbyist being more careful to practice safe sex 100% of the time during sessions more so than during casual sex? If so then why is the perception of provider or hobbyist more "dirty" than the average joe or shelia we meet and go to bed with in normal social settings. And no I am not talking about the person who is your long term beau or spouse I mean the person you met the same night or 2 weeks ago!
about safety. After all, this is her life and work we are talking about.
The prejudice against sex workers is probably mostly responsible for the image you mention, and it's not surprising.
The hogwash about having to close down prostitution for the sake of public safety is undercut by the whole dating bar scene that is allowed to florish unhindered (as it should be.)
The perception is there because the average woman sleeps with 5-10 guys in her lifetime and the average provider will probably sleep with HUNDREDS.
I'm new to this hobby, but the last two women I saw disappointed me with their total lack of inspection. A few years ago I visited a brothel and APPRECIATED a detailed inspection of my johnson and balls. If a gal isn't checking me, it means she also isn't checking the greasy trucker that just drove in from Tijuana. *shudder*
well with fair cause you can usually spot an std on a guy right away, whereas women tend to have more internal symptoms. So a simple one look can usually see if anything looks "fishy"
granted if the STD is in the incubation stage then detecting it are slim to none...
LONG STORY SHORT...always be safe and get yourself checked!
I PROMISE you, and thinking I am speaking for the majority of the higher quality providers, but TRUST ME!! We are inspecting, it might not be completely obvious (my style is very subtle). This is my health and my job, but we are all humans and no need to humiliate anyone.

I'm paranoid/meticulous about safety equally even with a bf i've had 5 yrs. You never completely know what the other person is doing whether they call you 2 hrs ago or you've known them 2 yrs. I don't put much past anyone.
