The reason why I posted yesterday about the whole "TER seems odd" thing..was that I can't believe how much reviewers pander to this "sorry guys VIP only for the rest of the story". THAT seems fake to me! I'm sorry!!
If you are going to write a review....don;t you just want to say 'hey..she's great..is what she appears to be on the website..etc".
Granted...I'm not a VIP and haven't seen the content of the VIP review portion....but I can pretty much assume it's a Penthouse forum version of their 'date'. And frankly, I'm not that interested in reading that part!!

I think the whole 'review' process is a scam.....and most , if not all, of the reviews are bogus. The providers might be real....and the services they perform legitimate...but this website is just another piece of the illusion. It is VERY clever. It's actually brilliant.
It would be fascinating to look at the man behind the curtain...I'm sure it would humbling/humiliating to most of the newbies etc...who believe so wholeheartedly in the myth being propogated here.
We like to keep the newbie board a friendly place for all the new kids to get their feet (and often the 3rd leg) wet without the attacks of some of the more aggressive boards.

I don't take too kindly to accusations that ALL the reviews are false. Myself and MANY other providers have put forth major effort to ensure that our reviews are true, honest, and forthright and are an accurate description of a what a visit with us would be like.
Trying to discount or discredit our efforts is a slap in the face to myself and all the rest of us.
You've got the best gateway and guidance to the hobby right here in your lap and you choose to try to dishonor and discredit it instead because they want to you to pay 20 bucks.

Yes, it is a business. TER needs money coming in to provide info to its users. However, I think it is ill advised for someone looking for a free ride to attack the populace that has contributed to the database he wants to see for free.

Nobody is telling you to be a VIP member. But did you ever stop to think for a second that TER has an overhead? That they have high expenses in order to run the website? They have to charge its viewers somehow. Hey, they could have decided that no one could peruse the site unless they paid. Their business plan, however, is to charge for a VIP membership; where hobbyists can read the specifics of the session. If you are not interested in reading "Penthouse forum", then do not become a VIP member. You can certainly continue to peruse the boards and general sections of a review without joining. Nobody is forcing you to join. Make your determinations on whether to see a lady as you see fit.

I think it's a brilliant business plan. I really do. I ALMOST signed up for VIP!!! And then the more inconsitencies I see...between the way the preamble to review is written...and the vast amount of MEANINGFUL AND SEEMINGLY GOOD advice is shared on the discussion boards.....the less I think the reviews themselves have validity. I think this website....TER..is a GREAT site because of the discussion boards and that banter. You can actually get a decent understanding of the 'do's and dont's'. I just think the reviews portion is a little suspect....that's all.

I'm not going to play your game and try to convince you to get VIP - your first bad experience will do that, BUT
I will point out that in your analysis that this is just a hold up for more money, you have not taken into account that VIP can be obtained through review contribution. That VIP membership is no different than paid membership.
Further, providers who register with the site can get a limited free VIP membership that allows them all of the features except reading other providers' reviews.

What makes you think the info on the boards is GREAT and the reviews are questionable? Could be the other way around.
What exactly qualifies you to even have an opinion about the reviews? The answer is nothing! You complain about a disconnect between the advice given on the boards and THE FIRST PARAGRAPH of reviews. Yes, TER has designed the review process as a revenue generating vehicle. And? No where is it stated that this board exists as a not-for-profit charitable organization.
I have 46 reviews. I fucked 46 different women and wrote about it. There is nothing fake about any of them. If you are too cheap to pay for VIP that's your business but your imagination is working over time here on a conspiracy that simply doesn't exist.
The reviews are what make the site worth visiting.
Well I can vouch that VIP is real and for most of us worth it, but then you would have no reason to beleive me anyway. The organization of the review is TER's but the information your missing is well woth it for me. I have seen providors reviews appear normal enough but in the details I find that she doesn't perform that well. I am into true GFE most of the time and that you will never see unless you get the details. I have seen providors that are ok and legit if all you want is release and they deserve the good numbers and general details to be good, only the details let you know what level of service you can look foward to. I was hesitant the first time I tried TER also, but I figured $20 wasn't too much of a risk for a month. After seeing my first reviewed lady and comparing my results I was soon a believer. If you don't want to spend $20 that's OK just don't bother to post a complaint if you spend $300 for a reviewed providor who does not do everything you wanted, the details were there to read.

I agree with Curt. I feel all the great experiences that I have had in this hobby are directly attributed to TER and the reviews contained herein.(not sure if herein is proper, but I like the way it sounds.)
Well Stan, I'm really new--you can look up all my posts and there aren't that many of them. Some of them ask all the new guy questions, etc. I figure the $20 for VIP saved me hundreds of dollars in bad dates, also possibly brushes with law enforcment. Not to mention that I have the peace of mind that comes with knowing the ladies I've been with are under the radar and have their shit together. I think VIP's well worth it. In fact, ATM it's the main reason I'm staying.

Since I began using TER reviews as a research tool years ago, I've seen experienced a tremendous increase in the overall quality of the woman I've seen and the sessions I've had. Before, it was a roll of the dice. Not any more.
Are some reviews fake? Sure, but most are not. And after a while, you can spot many of the fake ones.
Since you're not a VIP and haven't seen a number of girls based on their reviews, you have no basis for your wild claims. If you don't see the value of researching a lady you want to see, that's your loss.
Ok, how do you think TER would continue to be a viable site if no one actually PAYS for access? I'm pretty sure the staff that runs TER doesn't do it out of the kindness of their heart. They get paid for it, as they deserve. Your VIP membership fee is what pays their bills and keeps this site running. If the entire review was posted for everyone to read, there would be no incentive for you to pay for membership.
Think of it another way. From the information you shared about the lady you intend to see, she sounds like a winner. If TER's reviews didn't exist though, you would have no way of knowing that. You will spend between $$-$$$$ on your typical provider. TER membership costs $20 a month. A pretty small price to pay to ensure that you will get what you pay for when you go see the lady.
Final note, now that you've said you haven't read the entire review, I have to question your statement earlier about how great her reviews are. All you know is that she wasn't an oger when the reviewer first saw her, and his experience wasn't bad enough to be noted in the general details. You have no idea what her 'menu' is, you have no idea if she's a clock watcher, you have no idea if her skills are just so-so or if the guy was begging "no mas, no mas my goddess" by the end of his visit. That information can generally only be found in the juicy details and in the services offered section, which are blocked from you.
Maybe you should keep reading a little more on this board before you draw any more conclusions. The reviewers aren't getting paid for the reviews they write, but the staff of TER are certainly entitled to expect you to pay for access to their site. I honestly don't understand what your objection is.
Case in point - I only have 6 reviews but each and EVERY one of them is my little recap of the experience as I remember it.

I most likely would not see a lady,if i didn't have accsess to the VIP portion.The top portion of the review just doesn't give enough info,for me to be comfortable with the lady.It's after i read the review it's self and i rely on the info from guys who have seen several ladies.I will even PM them to make sure everything is legit!
I say,the more info,the better! Hell,it's only,what,$20.00/month.IMHO,,all TER is trying to do,is make what we do,,safer and more enjoyable.To do that,,,it cost money,but it's worth it!
I pay for my VIP. It's only $20 a month. Even over the course of a year, that's less than I pay for my average single session.
And, in exchange, I get to exchange PMs with people (my inbox and outbox have HUNDREDS so I'm getting my money's worth!), I get to look at and read reviews, participate in ter chat, etc etc etc.
For $20 I think it's a good deal.
If $20 is gonna break the bank, you should reconsider hobbying altogether. It can get kinda pricey. LOL
