There is a wealth of information there to get you going in the right direction. Also read the first couple of pages on this board to get a feel for the people who are here to help.

On the left of this page, you'll find a dropdown menu for all of the regional boards. Find the one closest to you, and get involved in the discussions there. You can also post and ad on your local board once every seven days.
