I totally agree!! I'm a NEWBIE and reading this placed a smile on face because your giving advice that I give to most who wants to start escorting.. Great minds think alike =)

Hey everyone! I have been very curious about escorting for a while now, and then I heard about this site as a possible way to learn more and maybe get my feet wet... If anyone would be kind enough to give me some advice, tips, teach me some of the ropes, and how I should even begin, I would really appreciate it! Also, I don't even know if it's considered "un-cool" to even ask for this type of info. So let me know if I am crossing any boundaries or anything. I've been a nurse for ten years, I'm a college grad, and have been around affluence and intelligence/money my whole life, so I would hope to fit in with that type of client. Who knows. I don't know ANYTHING as of yet! Thanks for any help- Take Care :)

Many potential escorts do all the time.

The answer is to do lots of research on this and there is no finer way to start than by reading the Self Help Manual that you will find linked on this page.  Look for the life preserver.

You should also read posts on this and other boards to get attuned to the people in this hobby.

Best wishes to you on whatever you decide.

I've been with a number of  nurses who've either retired from nursing or  do it on the side, always have a great time. If you were attracted to nursing, you'll take to escorting quite well.
Google is your friend, even though this is an illegal activity you'll be surprised what you can find on the internet about providing. If you share a computer with anyone else, and you don't want them to know about your desire to escort remember to clear all your searches.  Good luck, and check in every once in a while to let us know how things are going. Oh, and scroll back many pages on this board, you'll find many ladies are turning to escorting and asking tons of questions.

Any electronic record can be regenerated by anyone that has the required skill. Better having her very own computer than risk forgetting to clear a website or search string and being found out or asked difficult questions.

Thanks! And now I am wondering how to find my "regional boards" and possibly find an agency and get connected with one to start out with? Are they on this site? I'm probably not looking hard enough...?

If you have Private mail set up, post that you do. Many of the questions that you are now asking are better answered out of public view. If you don't have a VIP account, get one now. The cost is minimal. The VIP account allows you to send and recieve private mail, along with many other site privs.

if you give good service for a reasonable price, you will be successful.  There is a place in this biz for all shapes and most ages (up to maybe the upper 40's).

Check out other providers in your area and see what the going rate appears to be.  Also, post on your regional board so guys can get to know you.

Stop and make an honest assessment of your looks. From that assessment you should develop an idea of the nitch that you can fit into. If you are late twenties and beyond, don't try to compete with the thin early twenty-somethings for the clients that relish them, you will lose every time.

There are hobbyists that prefer portly women, those that prefer rubenesque women, those that prefer athletic women, those that prefer thin spinner types. There are hobbyists that don't see women that the older than 30, those that don't see women that are younger than 30. Understand what you can offer and agressively market yourself to the market of men that prefer what you offer.

One mistake that newbies providers make is being shy about their pricing. If you think your looks, culture and performance earn you top dollar, charge that amount. If you are off on your price, your stream of business will demonstrate to you that your opinion of yourself is higher than what men are willing to pay. But, don't except less than what you prove you should get for your time and efforts.

Lastly. If you get to the point where you don't like the business, quit, even if you still like the money. You won't be doing anyone any good at that point, including yourself.

free business email (or 2...  one idle but a back up).   You need to keep your private "civie" life separate from your professional life.
Do read the self help section (by the life saver) also read back on this board until you can answer every question yourself.  Look at the legal board.
One thing you will need to learn & devolupe is a method of screening potential clients for LE & your safety.  There are some general things you will read but the details (& every lady does it her own way) should not be posted on a public forum (LE can read & stalkers too).  There is a Providers Only board once you have reviews to qualify.  A local mentor would be better but would probably view you as competition.  A PenPal mentor could be a real aid.

You'll need pictures.  They need not be explicit but must be large enough & clear enough (and true) that taken in total let the client decide if he is attracted.  There are clients for every body type & build & levels & types of service...  BE an honesty provider & you'll do fine.
Best Wishes,

Any distinguishing marks should be removed from the photos. But she should let potential clients know those marks exist during the screening process. I second your point, honesty is the best policy. If the potential provider is honest and understand what segment of the p4p world she best fits into, she will accomplish what she is looking to accomplish.

I see upscale providers and two have become what I consider to be "friends" so I have a very good look inside this biz from their perspective.

There are two totally different worlds. On world is you're on a hotel, charging per 30 minute session, relatively low rates and you count on high volume. That would be the wrong path to take.

The other path is that of a high class escort. That world is broken down into two different kinds of girls - scammers and true GFE's.

Scammers hit high class business men, soak them for every penny and either never intent to have sex or it's "additional" after they've already shelled out a grand.

True high class escorts are kinda rare but make big money....eventually. Takes a while to get off the ground but if you're one of those high class girls an executive can take to dinner, have great conversation then you take great care of him at the end of the night, you're in really big money.

You're not gonna find a lot of that on this forum. This forum mainly has girls banging guys in a hotel for $150.

If you take an honest look here I think you will find that most ladies here are of significantly higher quality than what you are trying to make them out to be.

You have your opinion and I have mine.  Glad mine's so much different from yours.

If I wasn't being nice I'd tell you what I really think of your "help"

I would have sent this via PM, but since you do not state that you have paid for VIP, I assume you do not have access to your inbox.  (The envelope icon below your name apparently indicates only that it is your "real" VIP handle; when a VIP uses an alias there is no envelope.)

A provider I met lost her nursing license due to a conviction.  It is probably a safe assumption that a prostitution conviction in any state would be grounds for revocation of a nursing license.

All the more reason to educate yourself before jumping in.  Start by googling media sources in your area (tv, newspapers) for "prostitution arrests" to get some idea how active law enforcement is.

Presumably you can afford to pay for a VIP here.  Do so and then you will be able to click on a guy's handle and see how long he has been submitting reviews.  Starting off by advertising here (read the rules--only 1x a week) and taking only clients with a substantial review history should be a safe way to avoid undercover law enforcement.

You do not say that you need the income, so trust your "female antenna" and don't take an appointment if the guy seems at all questionable.

is very valid & important.  You should be very careful to hide or blur your face or identifying marks.

I don't think you need an agency to split the proceeds with & few agencies screen as they should and fewer teach their providers...  Some agencies are vindictive about providers who leave them to go independant.

I suggest you start small, no more than 1 client per week...  learn to screen...  stay independant.  You'll have expenses but at least you'll control them.  Don't expect to make very much at first but it will supplement your other income.  All ladies shouold expect to pay taxes & it's a help to have a conventional occupation as "visible means of support".

Even though screening methods are not discussed in detail, there is very much you can learn from reading back through the posts on this board.  It's free, except for your time.  We may disagree about details but hobbiests here want to see you succeed (if it is right for you).  It takes a certain mind set to do this even part time.

Generally, you do not want to "provide" from the same location you live & sleep.  Why?  Psychos & Cops.  Typically hotel rooms are rented or a separate apartment.  If a room is rented just to see one client, often the client pays for the room.  Hotels probably figure out who is providing...  some don't seem to care while others A) invite the lady to leave  B) call the Police.   You can not excactly ask the hotel how they feel.

You also must watch for other providers...  too much traffic tghrough a hotel is conspicious...  in a business built on discreetion.

I have seen providers who are professionally employed but their providing...  even part time...  they enjoy it (if they are telling me the truth), they make good money which makes all the difference in their cash flow.
