Thanks for the feedback everyone. I asked because it didn't seem like a good idea but the provider has a form on her "cityvibe" webpage that invites the reader to send an SMS message.
Thanks again
Hi, newbie here.
Has anyone had experience with contacting a provider through the SMS message on her cityvibe webpage? Is that a good way to contact a provider?
Thanks

Many providers sites lately are stating - "No text msging :
Its cleary an annoyance
I've had numerous providers text me. However, I will only text providers who send me a text in response to my call or those who have clearly stated that it's acceptable.
I did recently meet a lady that had texting as a method of communication. I used it; it worked fine and all was well.
As a rule, I'd opt for a different means unless & until she said it was OK.
