This is not unusual, most times it is due to nervousness and sometimes the use of a condom by gentlemen who don't normally use them can cause issues. The main thing is to relax and have a good time. As a provider, my main concern is that I do everything I can to put a gentleman at ease and make him comfortable. Don't stress over it, relax and try again. I'm sure next time things will go much better.
and it went very well, but unfortunatly I wasn't able to cum. So I was just wondering if this is common for first timers? I was pretty nervous, and she was very understanding, but I still feel bad about it. And I'd like to see her again in the future. Thanks for the help.

I find that I have a better experience if I refrain from drinking alcohol before a date. I'll have a social glass of wine if the lady likes to during the intro time, but no more.
Also, refrain from self-indulgence for some time (depending on age) prior to the date. The older you are the more time you need to give for Mr. Happy to get ready.
In a sense, the hobby is very artificial. A man and woman who don't know each other, and maybe, if they DID know each other, would never go out on a date together -- by the miracle of money manage to have sex with each other.
Under those conditions, failure to orgasm isn't a complete surprise for a newbie.
Here are some ideas ...
MRIs of men having orgasms indicates that, in order to have an orgasm, a man has to sort of "let go" and allow large portions of his brain to shut down, albeit momentarily. This isn't always easy under unfamiliar circumstances with an unfamiliar person.
1. Book with the same girl next time if you can -- it should improve your comfort level. 2. Book her for a longer period of time -- say 90 minutes instead of 60 so the interaction can be less rushed and there is more time for build-up and foreplay. 3. Refrain from masturbation for 2-3 days prior 4. Avoid decongestants, alcohol, etc. 5. Have her put a little lubricant *inside* the condom. That will improve feel. 6. Consider use of female condom if it is in the offing.
