well I'm 19 yrs old, college freshman and i think i do look my age. not younger or older but just right. most of the guys that i meet are fine with my age and have no problem with it, but some do and I'm not sure why. i am always sure to put how old i am in my ads and on my website. but i have had guys meet me and ask to see my i.d. because i look to young, and i just think "well did you expect me to look older?" when i first started, i would show the guys my i.d because i thought that was the norm, but then i realized that my i.d shows my real name and old address and that is not something i want to expose. how can i deal with this issue, should i just say that I'm older in my ads and my website. i would still look younger in person. thanks for the advice chicos and chicas

i think the reason is because if you are too young, they are afraid of getting prosecuted since the law prevents sex under 18

Part of it is making sure that you are of legal age, but there may also be some discomfort on a man's part if he's older and has children that are older than you (especially if he has a daughter).

JB = jailbait.  As a hobbyist in my late 40's, there are things that would make me think twice before I would see a woman thirty years younger.  First, are you for real?  Second, would you have a problem seeing a man that is that much older than you?  Not to say I would necessarily have a problem; I am late stage baby boomer, and we BB's invented cool.  Playing with a 19 y/o babe would certainly not be a problem, so long as it is not with you.  The question I would have with a lady as young as you: Are you cool with the age differential?   These are questions you need to answer to yourself.  Recognize that many of the guys here you are this question to are in my age bracket, and will be reluctant to see a woman this young, regardless of how hot you are...

Natalie, don't lie about your age in you ads/website.  Firstly, I agree with the other guys, checking ID is a legal thing, exchanging money for sex is one thing but statutory rape is another.  Make a mistake and somehow get busted with an escort and you pay a fine, get caught have sex with someone underage and you face a long time in jail, getting your ass kicked constantly in the "big house" (they hate kid touchers), and registering as a sex offender for the rest of your life.  About you safety/security, place a piece of tape over your name/address...the only thing the guy should be interested in is your age, no need for him to see your other info.

Lastly, everyone has their type, I personally am attracted to woman closer to my age (I'm in my 40's), while your site plainly shows your face a legitimate mention of your age in the ad would eliminate all questions about what I could expect once that door opens.

I would suggest that you could show your ID holding it with your name and address covered.  Just let them see your picture and DOB.  It should make your guest feel comfortable that you're not JB and keep your identity secure.

well i certainly have no problem seeing guy much older than myself, personally i do typically date guys at least 15 years my senior. i never did think about simply covering up my name and address. i suppose i could just put some tape or something over those areas. and i totally understand a guy being a little apprehensive about seeing someone as young as i am. i guess i just don't understand why a guy would choose to call me at all if my age makes him uncomfortable....

Women peak sexually in their 30s.  They often better learn how to enjoy their bodies too.  A 19 y/0 looks great in a picture but a fit 30 something y/o has dedicated a lifestyle to making herself look good.

A woman in her 30s or 40s finds me more sexy and genuinely wants to be with me then a late teen or early 20s gal.  That is worth more to me then a few less wrinkles or a few less dollars.

On the other hand I had a 19 y/o in CT that was really mature for her age and genuinely made me feel special.  I could not believe what a gem she was. That was the exception though.

If I were in your shoes, I would be prepared to show your id if asked.  I don't think tape is a good idea, lest you have to show it to a cop from a driving infracton.  I'd suggest cuting/folding a paper into a holder for the licence, showing only your photo & age.

YES, I'd be really leary of a 18-19 YO provider.  I worked the door at a night spot & it was really impossible to tell a 16 YO from a 20 YO by appearance alone .
