LOL ! I don't think I've drank 20 beers in an evening my whole life.If I had to many too to get good wood the lady would still be happy because my tongue still works good when I drink ,lol. :-)

I tried this herb for a few days trying to get a harder erection , one similar to what I got back when I was 20.It didn't really seem to help.I'm 47 6' 5" tall ,200 lbs.
Maybe the beers at night are preventing me from getting a good erection ?
The erections I get now ( a low hanging rubbery one) will probably be good for a milf but I might be in trouble if I'm with a 20 something year old ,lol.

A Korean hottie of mine gave me ginseng tea which I have been using for about a year now, and I find that my stamina is much improved, to say nothing of overall health.

Actually its Horney Goat Weed and it does help.
How hard is your wood in the morning? It may be that you smoke, have high blood pressure, there may be more than 1 reason why your not as hard as you used to be. Your not over weight so that isn't the issue.  Drink red wine to thin the blood. As far as HGW you need to be on it for at least 60 days to see improvement.  Hope this helps, BTW mine is as hard as It was when I was as a teen.....Don't smoke weight is normal and blood pressure is 120/80

Thanks.I guess I'll have to give it more time to work.I smoke a few cigarettes in the evening.Will have to stop.I don't really have wood in the a.m. unless I'm with a woman.

So, if you have thyroid issues, or any breathing related issue, taking HGW might be contraindicated.

Check out *all* "herbal" ED treatments before using.

And if you *really* want hard wood, improve your cardiovascular health and efficiency with a workout program approved by your doctor.

I forgot to mention that erectile quality is often just an indicator of overall health, particularly cardiovascular health. So it follows that,

1. You should get in shape and get regular exercise. Your issue might resolve all by itself, and you'll definitely be able to do more with it.

2. You should see your doctor to find out if this is a sign of a more serious problem. You're probably thinking, "What could be more serious?" Well, I've seen people recover from ED, but you don't get over death.

Actually I'm in really good health.I think my problem stems from too many beers at night.

First, you're never going to be 20 again. Second, don't worry about how hard you are. Be thankful that you can still get hard enough and know what to do with it.

Definitely cut out the beers. They're not helping. Next, what prescriptions are you on? If you're taking an alpha block for BPH or hypertension, that could be causing some problems. Try switching to a different one; they're not all the same. Beta blockers are even worse. Try to find one that causes fewer side-effects while remaining clinically effective.

If you're taking any herbal supplements, they can cause problems too. Saw palmetto is a popular herbal remedy for BPH. It gave me a full-blown case of ED--reversible, much to my relief. Clinical trials have shown it to be ineffective anyway.

The list of herbals on the market is too long to go through here, but most of them don't really work, and they often have adverse effects. If you're taking any, try cutting them out for a couple of weeks. If the picture improves, then you can resume taking them one at a time if you want to pinpoint the culprit.

Finally, the fact that you're asking about this here indicates that you have at least a little bit of anxiety about this. I probably don't need to point it out, but most performance issues are all or mostly in our heads.

One trick sex therapists use for assessing the psychological vs. physiological components of ED is to tell their patients to take a roll of postage stamps (the lick-n-stick kind), tear off enough to  go once around your willy, and make a little cock ring out of them. Put this on before retiring for the night. If you experience erections in your sleep, the ring will break, indicating that you have the physiological capability. I would be surprised if there weren't some emotional issues capable of interfering with erections during sleep, a positive result is definitely an encouraging sign.

but just like any other herb or medicine, has to be taken properly. First off, you shouldn't take anything, herbal or not, unless you consult your doctor. You also need to know what you are taking, and where it came from. Eurycoma Longifolia (LJ100 or Tongkat Ali) is a good example of this, and should be avoided if it comes from China. Malaysian is okay. The same holds true for a lot of herbal remedies. The one that should be avoided completely is Yohimbe, as it can be linked to liver and kidney problems. It's sale has been banned in many countries.

The best way to take any herb is in its most natural form, rather than as an extract. Infusing,or making tea is usually the best.
