Yes, I understand that for the validity of reviews it is important that hobbiests have some track record, but for conversation on the boards?  Who really cares?  If someone isn't comfortable using their handle, it really doesn't matter to me, I just don't get why this irks some people...

It only "irks" people when someone has to use an alias to either ask dumb ass questions like this one, or to insult someone. Using an alias in and of itself, is not an issue...the intent behind it is. And, you're incorrect that this is all still anonymous. My provider handle outs me as the provider London Rayne, and allows one to see my entire escort history and reviews...an alias, would NOT do all that. What you miss is that real handles can be used against us...guys get blacklisted, women get fake reviews, so many use an alias to stop some board nut job from causing them harm. Others, use an alias for malicious purposes, and in that case...it does matter.

Certainly I think there are times when folks might hide behind an alias for malicious purposes, but from what I've seen, this really is a small minority of the time.  Most time I see alias use being questioned it is for benign, if dopey, questions, to which I'd say, "who the hell cares?" Actually, in general, I think if more posts were not tied directly to a handle there could be more interesting conversation.  I'd like to hear the straight scoop from ladies on all sorts of topics, unhindered by what it might do to their rep.  Another board I'm on (completely unrelated to hobbying) has a polling function, which would be very cool here. Personally, I just think there is a band of folks (mainly hobbiests) who are a bit too self-important on these boards, calling out newbies, calling out ISOs, calling out alisa use, etc, etc.  I just have a more laid back approach to things, and would think that getting laid by beautiful ladies might make some folks chill out just a bit!  But to each their own...

I apologize for phrasing the question poorly.  I guess by upscale I meant more if there were BBW providers who charge very high rates.  Maybe the term "HDH" was more what I meant?
