Newbie and had my first visit 2 weeks ago. It was awesome, and I wrote great reviews here (she advertises heavily here) and RAPS.

What's protocol about getting a referral? I looked at my white list and nothing's there.  I'm signed up with 411 Preferred, and they have a provider referral section, too, but nothing's there. (I used 411 with her to verify).

How does this all work, and how do I approach the provider to get a referral? Or multiple--going forward?

I want to make an appointment with someone else (both are travelers), and the new one wants a provider ref. Or at least it will help in addition to 411, and I’ve read that provider refs are the gold standard in verification.

Contact her through preferred411 and ask her to verify you for their site.  As you have already seen her, as long as the session was ok, then she should be willing to do that.  

FYI - not everyone seen gets a white list.  Most providers prefer to wait until you have been seen several times to give you the ok.

I was wondering about this subject but from a different angle.
Ladies : if a gent asks you to give him a referral doesn't that mean he's taking his business elsewhere? How do you feel about that? Is it a conflict of interest?
Gents : if you ask a lady for a referral doesn't that mean you are taking your business elsewhere? How do you feel about that?
I understand it's part of the nature of the hobby but i was just curious.

Even though I am a newbie, I have asked for referrals. As long as I am respectful and I have seen the lady I'm asking recently, I see no problem in my doing so.

1) However warm, friendly and intimate, this is still business, not a marriage.

2) Acting courteously and respectfully about it does wonders.

3) The whole point of this is No Strings Attached. Why invent complications?

4) If you had a good time with the lady and they are as hassle-free as possible, that makes it easy to go back. Friendly providers get repeat customers.

5) When I've seen a guy looking for particular characteristics in a lady, I've made recommendations, or referrals, so to speak, of a lady I've seen. Might that make her busier or less available? Perhaps, but it seems right to do it, to let her make the call if she wants to see him and give her the business if she wants it.

Given all the subterfuge that can be required in this hobby, when an opportunity presents itself to do a good simple thing to help someone, take it. I don't believe in karma, but can it hurt to be prepared?

Always call the provider for the reference and ask if it is alright to use her. Let her know who the provider is and all contact information about her. I always check a provider out before giving any information to be sure she is legit.

I have had gentlemen give ladies from CL my contact info to get a reference. These ladies had no reviews here so you know how I feel. If they want to risk LE then be my guest and go ahead but please don't get me involved.

These providers are among the best I have met and I continue to see them because they are so into making sure that I am a happy customer.

isn't that the nature of this business?   If a gentleman only sees provider "A", then how does this board work?  He may review her but gentleman "B" is only seeing provider "C".  So the review is useless.  

We are here to share our experiences and desires.  I, for one, love meeting new people and love the no strings attached enviroment.  If I only wanted one lover I would stay civie.  LOL  If my date had a good time, he will be back....

Instead of monogamy, Kari has a fan club. As long as everyone understands the deal, it works for all involved. And the guys get cool (heavily laminated) membership cards.

I, for one, am behind in my attendence. I wonder if the teacher will spank me for truancy.

And....if she's a traveler, as in my case, then you'll be going elsewhere regardless (not accounting for frequent traveler miles available to use and personal wealth factors).

you can certainly ask that she provide you with references.  But, don't take advantage of this.  I've had gents that I have not seen in two years use me as a reference when I know that I have provided references to at least 10 other providers during that time.  You should use current references as many ladies won't take them or give them for gents that they have not seen in either 6 months or a year.

As for whitelist referrals, there are ladies who will not give them to a gentleman that they have only seen once, preferring to only whitelist gentlemen that they have seen on more than one occasion and feel comfortable vouching for them in a public forum such as the whitelist.  However, if you have seen a provider a few times, do ask her if she will whitelist you.

I for one give out referral's all the time for the gents i see, and it's my pleasure to do so for them, you have to understand that times are lean for alot of providers and if they are giving out referral's to another girl that means your not coming to see them again and that = no cash..i'm sorry to say babe,thats how some of them think..I look at myself and other providers as a HUGE smorgasbord of different tastes, so why stick with eating the same food over again, go on to try a new "taste" thats why i'm always pleased to give out a refferal, and sometimes if asked give recommendations to some girls as well..

This might be throwing a monkey wrench into the situation, but what about referrals from agencies? I assume I'd be getting a "blanket referral" from the agency/person running it, instead of the specific person I saw?
