Re: Gap in reviews

Remember, repeat clients rarely write an additional review that would replace the first review.  Also, providers have lives and there may have been a very good reason why she took a few months off.

Fourth months is not that big a deal.  Try sending a PM to the last reviewer to see if he might know something.  Also, has she posted on TER recently?

I am considering a provider that has about 8 solid reviews.  But I noticed that her last review was in September 2009.

Is that unusual?  Is there anything I should be concerned about?

I would appreciate guidance as I do not want to offend the provider about asking about the gap.

Since realitely few review, review gaps do happen.  This is really only a short gap.  I'd not be too concerned if the reviews are good.

Sometimes a lady has a longer gap...  perhaps she was retired, stopped providing for personal reasons (relationship, divorce, child custody)...

I think you will get your answer if you choose to book with her...  if she accepts the date, then she is active & if she took time off it is really none of our business.

As skb mentioned this is a small gap in reviews. I've seen a lady with a 2 year gap in reviews, she got out of the business. Another lady had a 1 year gap, she took her reviews off TER. There are many reasons for a gap, as long as previous reviews are good, I wouldn't worry about it. Good luck

That's not really all that long of a gap. Not all providers work all the time and the vast majority of guys who pay for sex don't write reviews. If she has a lot of regulars and is not high volume that will also cause a gap.  I see a lady who lives in Hawaii and only comes to Boston every three or four months. She has had a gap of as much as a year at times.

Sometimes we take a break due to family, other jobs or school. In my particular cases, I have decided to go back to school, don't have as much time to devote to being a provider, so I am seeing mostly regular clients who have already reviewed me.
I'm sure most of the ladies who have a lapse in reviews will have similar reasons. I would not be offended if a new client ask me about the lapse in reviews.

I get reviewed about once a month or 12 times a yr.
I can go months without seeing a new client who is a review writing Ter member and its all good in my book.
Its a lil bit more UTR cuz theres enough reviews that it stays current but not one each week.
I wouldn't worry about it really.

I have asked ppl Not to write reviews when I was trying to keep things quiet.

That was not that long ago and tons of guys HATE writing reviews!!  Its hard to write a review  because if its not detailed enough they kick it back...some guys just give up.

I see alot of regulars.  As such, they posted a review of me in the past and are not likely to post a second one.

Many men post reviews only of new providers they see as they get VIP membership benefits by doing so.  Also some men to not post reviews.

The result.. I may have a gap in reviews that is caused by seeing some non-reviewers and regulars. This does not mean that I am not seeing clients.

Hope this helps!
