Out of curosity, how long either in time or activities before us newbie's are no longer considered a newbie?

...you are no longer a newbie. As far as learning, I never stop learning and I've been paying for pussy since the 80's.

Don't get hung up on names or titles. Read what the veterans say here on these boards-both client and provider.  Also, when you see a lady that you have a great time with pay attention to what it is about her that  makes it a special experience.  Sure "activity" is important but the gals that really stand out usually have more going for them than just good skills in the sack.  Lastly, read the horror stories here from guys and the lady's. If we don't learn from history we are doomed to repeat it...

that there is no such thing as an expert, just people with varying degrees of knowledge and experience.

Newbies can often teach experts, and I learn a lot by thinking about their questions and hearing new answers to them.

Just trying to put it all in perspective.

Anyone taking on a new discipline or in this case the hobby, gains the most, and the quickest by having the mind of a learner. I've seen plenty of people go to a master in his or her field, and take the experts mind, and leave without gaining the riches in wisdom and knowledge that the master had. So sad. Just because the one seeking couldn't let get past the image of themselves lacking in anything, even lacking what they were seeking.

I learn something, pretty much, every day here on the boards. Hope you do to.

you can still learn stuff.  I have over 30 credited reviews, but I still learn from others regardless of how long they have been in the hobby.  I have only been hobbying just over 4 years.  We can always learn new stuff.   You cease to be a newb when you think you are.....

The question is just one of when you think someone is no longer a newbie. We all will learn constantly on issues and comments from others. I asked for timing based on length of time, number of times etc. I am not stupid enough to think that one can't learn from people more experienced and also from those less experience.
I don't expect a date certain from the board with a nice graduation ceremony and certificate, but I was hoping for some honest thoughtful comments.I was thinking that An appropriate thought process might be along the lines of the greater of two years or 10 reviews but no less then 1 year and 6 reviews. It seems like to many of you dismiss us newbies asbeing total idiots, although reading some of the questions many of us newbies are.

I have been with only one provider in my life and that was 6 to 8 years ago!!! She was a provider and friend but she retired and up and totally vanished.. I miss her to this day.. and soon after I experienced some personal hardships in life that put hobbying waaaaaaaaayyyyyyy on the back burner.. I have rebounded now I am getting back in the game again so I guess I am a newbie again! It's like regaining my virginity! LOL!!!

I can learn something new everyday and delight in doing so, whether it's here or IRL. Being a lifelong learner has its benefits, one of which is that the more I learn, the more I realize that there is so much MORE to learn.

Fortunately, ignorance is correctable ( but you can't fix stupid). So take your time, enjoy the experiences and at some point you will be able to answer the questions poised on this board along with the viewpoints of other experienced folks.

A newbie is definitely a first timer in my book, or someone that has only seen like a few girls that he can count on one hand. I would say after four or five yo have definitely joined the club!!!!

I know we can all learn something, and none of us know it all. I was asking a simple question of when you consider some one no longer a newbie based on time or experiences.

Let me explain something simple, there is a differance from continuing to learn and being a newbie. In many profeesions you become a professional and then you obtain further education, it is often called continuing education.

I've been hobbying since 1974, but I'll probably be a Newbie at heart until I die.
